  1. Final Regular Season Power Rankings on the season 1. Reitz 2. Memorial 3. Mater Dei 4. Jasper 5. North 6. Castle 7. Vincennes 8. Harrison 9. Bosse 10. Central The Final Power Rankings will be concluded after the postseason is finished
  2. Looks like IndianaSRN will cover Memorial’s Sectional games now: Memorial at Bosse http://www.indianasrn.org/Games.php/?B=442534
  3. I think he cares more on his pick than his spread in my opinion. For the Reitz/Memorial game, he either had us as an 21 point or 24 point underdog in the game. Massey, somehow, gave the game as a tossup. I like to post the different spreads to compare them
  4. Massey is usually solid most of the time getting his picks right. Personally, I think GS wins this one, I was just surprised Harrell’s spread was that low
  5. I believe he has Gibson Southern as an 9.5 point favorite in this one
  6. Wheels might be falling apart for the Alices right now. However, they are surprisingly a 7 point underdog in this matchup, should be an exciting one! Going to be interesting on how GS will handle the mobility of Hunt
  7. I will be posting playoff stuff in here from now on Bye Week: Jasper, Castle and North Week 1 Lines 4A S24: Memorial (-35) at Bosse Boonville at Harrison (+10) Central at Reitz (-35) 3A S30: Vincennes (+7) at Gibson Southern 2A S40: Perry Central at Mater Dei (-28)
  8. Depends who you ask, Reitz is the clear favorite, unless they get stricken with the 9-0 Curse
  9. Massey Boonville (-7) at Harrison, 63% chance of victory for the Pioneers Memorial (-30) at Bosse, 95% chance of victory for the Tigers Central at Reitz (-36), 96% chance of victory for the Panthers
  10. Oh yea, didn’t think about that… hopefully Seward is all good, pretty sure he walked off the field okish. Let’s see he will be after this week, since he will likely rest
  11. Hey, 0-0 begins now, but I’m glad we are playing in the friendly confines of Enlow 😉
  12. Calpreps Memorial (-35) at Bosse Boonville (-11) at Harrison Central at Reitz (-56)
  13. Me too, should be interesting game, While we did lose 34-10, it’s pretty hard to play a game missing 10+ starters. Both teams are rolling at the right moment, that Jasper’s run game is scary.
  14. Normally, they will play for the 1H until fading out toward the 3Q. They will likely rest Seward, since he left early last night with a side injury. However, while they did not play, preseason starters OL Weinzapfel (left Jasper game early) and DL Collins were dressed last night, something to look at for in the following weeks
  15. Story lines to watch in this Sectional for the first week: How well does a healthy Memorial go against a now healthy Jasper team in the Sectional Semi-Final? Can Harrison give Boonville a scare, Warriors have improved, but Boonville is a much better team unlike last year. If Boonville does beat Harrison, how does a Boonville/Reitz game go? Last year was an classic, and some of the same names return in this one. Starting to look like Central will go winless for the first time in 35 years, last time was in 1985. Memorial gets 2 straight weeks at Enlow, away against Bosse, home against Jasper Does Tango make his chili? Not much excitement to talk abound for this week, Boonville-Harrison is somewhat intriguing.
  16. MaxPreps did a video for that 2015 game, I’ll try to find it
  17. If you want my honest opinion, Northwood is the only team I know that has been playing good ball in the North Bracket. But after looking at CC, oh boy I hope they meet up
  18. Week 9 Observations North takes care of business and shuts down Central the entire game, the Huskies will rest up this weekend. Central goes winless in the conference, as they inch closer to a winless season. A nice turnaround for Harrison as they end the season 3-6, looks like Harrison has found their future QB. Harrison will play Boonville in an interesting matchup. Bosse gave an solid effort against Harrison, however, the Dawgs will face Memorial in R1. Jasper is ROLLING right now having won 4 straight games heading into their bye Week and likely matchup with Memorial in the SF. Vincennes has now lost 3 straight games with various mistakes, it gets harder for the Alices, as they face Gibson Southern in the first round. This was an exciting game, but Memorial prevails over Castle in the “Cake Eater Bowl”, behind a 210+ rushing yard performance by Porter Rode. Memorial has won 6 out of 7 games after starting 0-2 and tied for 2nd place. Castle gave a nice effort, as they had me on edge in the 2H. Bishop to Aigner combo is extremely good. However, mistakes costs the Knights in this one and end the season going 1-3 in their final 4 games. Knights hope to regain their confidence once 5A starts. Reitz vs Mater Dei. This game was well advertised, as it sounds like this was an exciting matchup. Reitz wins the games 14-7 in a great defensive performance by Oxley and Co. Questions do arise from the passing game, but that running game is deadly against teams with Vera/Oxley(FB)/Burnett. Mater Dei really surprised me as they kept it close with Reitz until the final play. Sounds like MD defense kept them in the game, while the offense did struggle. Overall, this teams are likely built to play games in November!
  19. 4A South is a mess of really good teams, North is all Northwood
  20. And now the fun begins!
  21. Had to been 8500+ strong in this one
  22. Last year, 4-7 Reitz almost beat Mater Dei in a classic matchup, so it just might be a rivalry score in my opinion
  23. JH lines Memorial (-35) at Bosse Boonville (-10) at Harrison Central at Reitz (-35)
  24. Ha, his “little” brother is either 6’4 or 6’5 around the 275 mark, I don’t know what they are feeding their boys!
