Memorial Offense YPG: Passing YPG: 180.3 YPG/ 11.3 YPC Rushing YPG: 137.6 YPG/ 5.0 YPC Total YPG: 317.9 PG Defense YPG Passing YPG(Allowed): 115.2 YPG Rushing YPG(Allowed): 135.9 YPG Total YPG(Allowed): 251.1 YPG Short preview: The first 2 games were less than ideal for the Tigers, as they were blown out by Jasper in Week 1 and were shut out for the first time in 10 years against North in Week 2. However, the Tigers were facing a lot of issues, as the team was down in the double digits of missing starters. But with key guys returning in Week 3 and Week 4, the Tigers have gone 7-1 since their Week 2 loss against North. Offensively, the Tigers have been led by QB Fisher after getting the starting job against Central, while QB/WR Ellspermann has been playing receiver (450 yards) and steps in every once in a while behind center. The QBs have a plethora to throw too, with WR. L Ellspermann, WR Collins, WR Pearce or RB Rode. In the trenches, RB Rode has enjoyed being behind an OL averaging around 6’3 260 and getting to 830 rushing yards in 8 games. Defensively, LB Johnson and DT Farmer have been the focal points on the defense, while LB Johnson has collected 90 total tackles on the season. While the backfield has done an exceptional job replacing a solid group from last year. Overall, it has been an intriguing season for the Tigers as they have overcome some early mishaps. And they hope they can continue their 3-game win streak against the team that blew them out in Week 1. Can the Tigers finally end their 3 game-losing streak to the JCats in the friendly confines of Enlow?

Jasper Offense YPG: Passing YPG: 45.9 YPG/ 14.75 YPC Rushing YPG: 251.9 YPG/ 4.9 YPC Total YPG: 297.8 YPG (Hope my math is correct since I had to research these) Defense YPG: Passing YPG(Allowed): 141.0 YPG Rushing YPG(Allowed): 93.40 YPG Total YPG(Allowed): 240.50 YPG Short Preview: The season started off not so great for the Wildcats as they looked at themselves at 2-3 after Week 5 following their loss to Mater Dei. However, that did not stop Head Coach Tony Lewis from letting this season go to waste, especially mid-way through the season. While Jasper has suffered quite a bit of injury, the Wildcats found themselves in a 3-way tie for 2nd place after winning 4 straight wins. Offensively, the team averages around 250.1 YPG, which would place them as the #1 rushing team in the SIAC, while individual stats are a little time-consuming, Running Backs Perkins and Hollsworth have been beneficial for Jasper's run game success over the season as they have yet been below 100 yards at all. While the passing isn’t used as much in games, QBs Young and Bueltel have served well to Jasper’s offense when they are called. Defensively, Jasper has dominated on the DL, as they have earned them being the #2 SIAC rushing defense team and has been consistently in the Top 2 for several weeks, while the backfield is led by one of the best SIAC DBs in Bair. Even though the season has had its ups and downs, Jasper has built a foundation in the last few weeks for success. And with a rematch with a fired-up Memorial team that wants to avenge their Week 1 loss, this is gearing up to be a very good matchup in Enlow. But there is one thing Jasper fans love, as HC Tony Lewis is 8-1 against the Tigers.

Reitz Offense YPG: Passing YPG: 193.1 YPG/ 15.6 YPC Rushing YPG: 186.5 YPG/ 6.3 YPC Total YPG: 379.6 YPG Defensive YPG: Passing (Allowed): 64.1 YPG Rushing (Allowed): 115.2 YPG Total YPG (Allowed): 179.3 YPG Short Preview: Just like Boonville, Reitz is arguably one of the fun teams to watch in Southern Indiana on all sides of the ball. The Panthers have a very dynamic offense under QB Davies (166.0 YPG) or WR/QB Vera (thrown for 8 TDs). Not to mention the plentiful of weapons Reitz can choose from, like SIAC rushing leader TB Burnett (1268 yards) and a duo of 2 of the best receivers in the SIAC with WR Summers (825 yards) and WR Thomas (525 yards). With much thanks to a massive OL averaging around 6’3 250 paving the way for passing protection and creating holes for Vera/Burnett. Defensively, Reitz is a beast in the trenches with Oxley, Brantley, and Utley collecting 34 sacks and living in a QB’s backfield. And with a great Defensive Backfield led by DBs Ringo and Summers totaling 10 picks together (team total is 19 picks). LB Wells has proved pivotal on the team leading 81 tackles on the season. These Panthers are legit, while they have had close games this season, there is one key to them from it. Reitz always finds a way to win, whether with a late score or a last-minute stand. While the Panthers want more than a SIAC title, there are many teams wanting to spoil their perfect season. But these Panthers are roaring each week, will the Pioneers be their next victim?

Memorial's passing yards allowed should 1152 yards and not 958 yards

Boonville Offense YPG: Passing YPG: 96.3 YPG/ 15.5 YPC Rushing YPG: 239.8 YPG/ 7.2 YPC Total YPG: 336.1 YPG Defense YPG: Passing YPG(Allowed): 102.3 YPG (Harrison and Paoli games not included, no stats) Rushing YPG(Allowed): 231.4 YPG (Harrison and Paoli games not included, no stats) Total YPG(Allowed): 304.8 YPG (On recorded 8 games with stats) Short Preview: Boonville has been a pretty fun team to watch with a fun duo in QB Conner and RB Wilder totaling nearly 1850 rushing yards and 25 TDs on the season. As Boonville mainly runs the ball and passes when it needs to (Conner 950 yards 12 TD/2 INT). WR Ballard leads the team in receiving yards (340 yards) and averaging around 18.9 YPC, with WR Aigner right behind him at 338 yards. While defending the run game might be a struggle, the Pioneers make it up with an exceptional passing defense averaging 102.3 YPG. LB Wolfe and Wilder lead the Pioneers in total tackles, with Wolfe amassing 111 tackles on the season. On the other side, Conner also lives in the Defensive Backfield grabbing 5 picks on the season. This Boonville team has definitely improved after going 3-7 last year. And has played good teams pretty closely for the part (Down 3 against GS in the early 4th Q, tough loss to 2A Linton earlier this season). Pioneers face a large task this coming Friday against a very good and motivated Reitz team wanting more than a SIAC title. Luckily for the Pioneers, they will face Reitz at home and try to avenge their loss from last season.

An interesting fact about North, they are 1-4 at Home, with their only win against Memorial, but are 4-0 in away games.

Big in the trenches, very good run game too, some questions on the passing game. Defensively, they defend well against the run, and have some quick players in the backfield

I wish teams would post QB Hurries and etc. for calculating Pass rush scores (this would be fun to do). But just by judging from the individual stats, Reitz is likely #1 pass rush in the SIAC, that defensive Trio is very good and they will return their DL primary starters, except for Head.

Heard there might be a little rain shower over Boonville’s field Friday morning. But, Boonvegas always provides an exciting game when they play (Linton and GS)

Short answer, very good when healthy, lots of athleticism on that team
