  1. Lots to work on until everyone is back
  2. Guerizini had 65 yards on 29 carries. North is very big in the trenches
  3. North’s Angelo St. Louis had 200 rushing yards on 25 carries against Castle last night. And 2 touchdowns
  4. Another observation I saw is that Castle’s QB did not look like a fresh QB at all. 266 yds 3/1 is one hell of a stat to start off
  5. He was fully dressed last night and was taking notes too from what I saw.
  6. I’m sure that will be an interesting conversation
  7. Thanks for reminding me that lol. Just plucking some needles in a haystack, a very large haystack. This game is overall an concern for the team, Practice will not be fun
  8. Won’t get any easier next week, Huskies are itiching for a win after last nights comeback falling short.
  9. I think the game would have been different if everyone was healthy, would be a much closer game. However, that Young to Blair connection is going to be deadly on defenses this year. Also, that RB reminded of Dawkins too, since from my view, he kept trucking over people.
  10. Majority of the DLine, #1 OL, #1 Wr, and a nice RB, that’s from top of my head. Sounds like everyone will potentially be back for before Week 4. But we shall see after tonight.
  11. I was about to say, Jackson is going to be great for the Alices this year
  12. John Harrell’s opening lines: Central (-4) at Bosse Harrison at Jasper (-24) Memorial (-10) at North Reitz (-14) at Lincoln Castle (-3) at Mater Dei
  13. Might take a look at the VL/Bosse game if they still live stream the games. Did Hunt have an incredible game?
  14. Week 1 Observations - Did not see the Alices blanking out Bosse 40-0. Sounds like VL was rolling on all cylinders tonight. -Mater Dei went into the Bear Den and took an convincing 35-0 win over Central. - Let the Panthers roar over the Warriors as they were on fire against Harrison. The Panthers get a nice 39-8 win in the Bowl. - How about them Knights? Fended off a very nice Husky comeback to beat North 28-21. There are some players on both sides on the ball. - A score that raised lots of eyebrows, Jasper rolling over Memorial 34-10. While the Tigers were out a few key pieces, Jasper looked mighty, mighty solid. Will be interesting if they meet again in the sectional. Power Rankings will drop on Monday.
  15. Positive note, that Brother to Brother connection might be special down the road. Another note is our 4th down conversions had an 80% rate too, which I liked. But there is a lot to learn before this team is 100%.
  16. While I wished the outcome was different. Jasper does have lots of weapons to use on that Offense. Hopefully we meet in the sectional, cause that will be a fun game!
  17. Week 1 Finals 40-0 VL over Bosse 35-0 Mater Dei over Central 39-8 Reitz over Harrison 28-21 Castle over North 34-10 Jasper over Memorial 👀
  18. Looks like there is a new QB at North, Jaylonn Mitchell wins the starting position and begins his era.
  19. Finally game day in the SIAC, should be a great night of football!
  20. All time Chatard 537-168-1 .760 Hobart 649-323-16 0.72
  21. https://www.courierpress.com/restricted/?return=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.courierpress.com%2Fstory%2Fsports%2Fhigh-school%2F2022%2F08%2F18%2Findiana-high-school-football-week-1-games-evansville-ihsaa-schedule%2F65400257007%2F
  22. Week 1 predictions Harrison at Reitz There is a new feeling around the Bowl these last couple of weeks. Reitz will start off the season with a bang. Panthers by 4 scores. Castle at North Castle Offense might be shaken up a bit after taking some loses. However, Castle’s Defense will be solid. Seems like North is also in the same boat too after losing some nice offensive production. Two brand new QBs will go out it tomorrow night. If you like Defense, this might be the game for you, I think the Huskies come out and win by 1 score. Mater Dei at Central The Wildcats are very excited for this season as they are sniffing out that SIAC Crown and another potential State appearance. Central appears to still trying to find their identity. Mater Dei will put on a statement and win by 5 scores. Vincennes at Bosse The Alices roll into Enlow Field hoping to avenge their early season loss against Bosse. But there is a culture shift under Coach Mullen and the Dawgs. I think this will be a close matchup, however, with 17 starters back for the Alices, I think they win by 1 score. Memorial at Jasper Probably the most anticipated Week 1 matchup of the season. For the last 2 years the Wildcats have spoiled Memorial’s season openers with convincing wins. Seems like both teams were hit hard by graduation too and new faces on both sides. Memorial might be out with some players, but are solid nevertheless. Jasper is also solid too, especially on the Defense. Who needs a favorite anyways? Calpreps has the O/U at 46. Give me a defensive slugfest Under 46 total points.
