GS stuffed the RPO for the win....LBurg turns it over on downs. GS going to SS!
-
QB keeper up the middle, stuffed for short gain. 3rd & 5
56 secs to go. 4th & 2 for LBurg
-
1:08 left. 2nd down & 6 for LBurg at GS 45
-
1s down for LBurg at GS 49 1:28
-
4th and 10 for LBurg. 1:45 left
-
LBurg with a 1st down at their own 30. 3rd & 10 with < 2 mins
-
GS with a drive to 1 yd line but eventually has to settle for the field goal. GS 31 - 29

GS seems to really be losing focus after giving up 22 straight pts. Not much of a running game to speak of in 2nd half and Coach Hart seems to have put the game on Allen's shoulders..or at least his right arm.

Great victory by the Tigers. A big shout out to Tango and the entire Tiger Tailgate Team for their hospitality, great chili, & delicious wings, Thanks for the invite. Win & advance.

You sure know a lot about ec travel schedule and such. Did they post it somewhere?
No idea how he does it but TigerFan20 is always "in the know" for such things. 💪

This is a Scecina home game and from what I understand will be played at Beech Grove HS. Doesn't matter where the game is played. Gotta be ready to go when the whistle blows no matter where you are. Let's have a great week of prep and be ready to roll again.
It was originally listed as a "Neutral game" on the IHSAA site/Max Preps which I thought was sort of funny.
Harrell's currently lists the game as 7:30 pm on Friday night at University of Indianapolis, but their info is often updated later in the week.
fwiw, Beech Grove has a grass field unless it is an older pic on Google, while University of Indianapolis is turf, if that is any part of the decision.

3 hours and 1 minute per Google maps
In a car averaging 60 mph, yes, but Google does not have a "bus" mode of travel....even a higher end travel bus will take another 45 mins - 1 hour to make that trip.

What are the odds a team gets this kind of run of Home games? Is this why they created what seems like a new rule to me at Semi-State? I do not recall this rule in the past but may have overlooked it or forgotten it. This rule alone would seem to prevent the kind of run Zionsville has been on in the playoffs unless they never get past Regionals.
*If regional winner has not hosted either sectional final or regional, that school will be the designated host

The Wildcats played perhaps their best half of football last night vs TC, scoring on 5 of their first 7 drives, putting 35 pts on the board and the game clock in over-drive. As a reward...they get another 4 hour drive next week to play Scecina in what the IHSAA terms a "Neutral Game" 😅 But hey, at least we are playing...
I watched some of this game late last night and was impressed by the Scecina D line & LBs who are fast and put lots of pressure on the QB. Scecina came out to start the 2nd half and put the saddle on LCC and rode them hard the rest of the way to a dominating victory.
Seems likely to be a Saturday, mid-afternoon game but not certain at this point. Curious where will this "Neutral" game be played? I have it on good authority there are 2 available, turf stadiums in Terre Haute at ISU & Rose-Hulman. Both would be a 2 hr drive for MD and maybe 90 mins for Scecina...sounds pretty "neutral" to me...

Just dropped off my vehicle #1 and walked the 2 clicks back home. Look for the M flag. Would love to hang out with you.
If I remember correctly, your crew usually takes up most of the corner lot at Lodge & Powell- correct? I may even poke brother bear and get him out of the house for a couple of hours. What time will you start the festivities - 9 am or is that too late!? 8 - )

I think we will have a little bit tougher challenge, but we will try to follow suit. I have chili and dogs for for the tailgate, so if you aren't doing anything, head East...
I was actually thinking about doing just that... My GPS goes out once I cross Pigeon Creek and Google Maps comes up blank but I think I remember the way...nothing like a good football game on Saturday afternoon! I may even have a blue hoodie somewhere!

Congrats. I'm glad the Wildcats are kicking the stripes off these Tigers. Karma...
Now, we need the Tigers to follow suit!

Easily the single WORST call I have ever seen in a high school football game. The side judge came in after the initial TD call and seemed to be ready to correct the call then did nothing...WORST CALL EVER.
The basic physics of how & why the ball popped up 15 ft in the air can only be explained by the ball coming out of the QBs hand and then hitting the lineman...something clearly supported by the video. There were 5 officials on the field and all blew this call BADLY
