    Hey Snider people,

If Snider makes it to LOS, who do you think they'll face from 5A South, and who do y'all want them to face? Being in Plainfield, I'm hearing a lot of biased Plainfield talk and I'd like to get a semi-neutral perspective.

I think 5a is down again and snider will walk all over everyone except for valpo... if valpo gets their shit together

I expect 5a state to be about as close as 4a this year and about as memorable as any 1a football game.

Hope I'm wrong but I'm not, it's kind of a curse.

Figured as we approach week 6 (officially over halfway) now would be as good a time as any to sign your name to some mid-season predictions now that we have over a month of data on all schools.

    I’ll start:

6A:  Hamilton SE vs Center Grove

5A:  Snider vs Harrison (WL) how are one of these schools coming out of the south lol

4A:  Kokomo vs East Central by 30+

    3A:  Chatard vs Heritage Hills

    2A:  Luers vs Triton Central

    Whatcha got?

Think Indy Lutheran needs to be on here somewhere. Are they overall a Top 25 team? Maybe not, but I think the utter dominance they've shown deserves some recognition.

"I think this team should be on the top 25 list"
but questions if they are in the top 25

this year's lists are much better than last year's no need to downgrade them

East Central is great apparently, but you can’t teach or catch speed. EC hasn’t seen anyone like New Haven with 6A talent and speed to burn. First, I am not convinced New Haven will get to state, they will be playing shootouts the further they go in the playoffs and those can go either way. Second, ask other teams about speed. Perfect example, Snider played New Palestine in 2016 and literally everyone anointed New Pal as state champions long before the tournament began. Then they played Snider and found out what real speed was and lost 64-61 in an all-time great game. You get that kind of speed indoors and it is literally a different game than what is played outdoors in inclement, cold weather

Also agree great game very fun

I was blacked out for most of it but if memory recalls new pal slung about 6 deep balls for touchdowns. So I'm not sure I would declare snider Victors based on speed alone

And let's not begin to talk about comparing new haven to 2015 snider

You could give new haven all their players over the last 10 years and they couldnt beat 2015 snider

“Emotionally charged journalism” is what I like to call it.

He’s right on this one (assuming the facts of the case are accurate) but loses credibility and legitimacy based on some of his previous “stories.”

”Thousands will die if we have fans at the Indianapolis 500 or play college football this fall.”

    Enough said.

To be fair, I go the 500 every year, and I almost die every year

Actually, the Sagarin is pretty accurate the further into the season we go. Let's just say it's a little sketch  after Week 1, but it's certainly worth more than "squat." It starts to make more sense after Weeks 2 & 3.

It's too early to jump on the NE8 bandwagon. Right now there are a lot of good teams, but how good only time will tell. It's hard to gauge East Noble after beating a Luers team that's probably in their bottom 10% historically as a program. We'll have a better read on them after tonight's game against Snider.  New Haven waxed the worst team in the SAC. Northrop is really bad. And we can't hardly judge Dwenger after playing, arguably, the best team in the state.

I know Dwenger is getting a bad rap, but I know this program well enough to understand that you never underestimate them when they are playing within their weight class.

Dont worry btf. Any ne8 bandwagon is bound to crash and burn

This is Indiana football were talking about.

Saints win that sectional just wait
