And NO that is not a knock to a very good NV team from last year, I am just using that as an example of how good Pioneer actually is.

I am a PH fan but I have seen both Pioneer and PH play, there is no way PH can handle the physicality of the Panthers, and this is coming from a fan. I don't put much stock in a website that does not see a team play in person. It would be a very interesting question to ask the GID faithful if anyone else believes that the Wolves have a chance against the Panthers, but again since the Panthers defeated NV 60 -0 in the championship last year (the same NV team that beat PH) they have moved up into the 2A tournament so we wont see that game either.

I remember playing against teams coached by Jack Hunter at Covington, always tough kids, and my coach John Strader was a tough but fair man as well.

I find myself falling victim to the ridiculous and trying to debate it with fact against the lunacy that is posted, I am beginning to feel a lot like you do. I was from the WRC and I have seen a lot of good teams, players and coaches over the years as well. I would love to just talk football for what it is.

Mark is not only a great coach but he is a great man as well. He is very respected by his players and the communities he has coached in.

And the very next year Attica got beat 43-0 by fountain central. Not sure i can agree with this attempt at proving their current status as one of the best teams in class A

How is Attica one of the best teams??? Are you going off of the record alone? Did you look at who they beat to get to 3-1? I have to disagree that Attica is one of the best teams in class A, I believe they are the fortunate to have had a soft early schedule just as the Wolves have. Again if PH ends up running the table I will be happy they did (I don't see it happening) but to say they are Elite because they beat Attica is a big stretch.

That is kinda funny and I am sorry to hear you sister left you and there is no one left in the house to offer consolation and provide affection to you. I guess you could always by a couple WOLVES I hear they are great companions

If you want to call them tops in the WRC because they have not been beaten yet, that's one thing but for you to blindly compare and claim ELITE status of the athletes of PH to those of other schools you have not played yet that is foolish. I will say it one more time I AM a fan of the WOLVES, but to claim they are elite at this point makes no sense at all. Maybe you should wait until they have beaten some better competition before you make the claims that they are ELITE. I also get that you want reaction by your posts, and when I am bored and have time I will reply. Why do I reply? Its simple the logical person in me responds to the posts of mere personal opinion when being passed off as truth.

Ive been a fan of the WRC for a long time and i have seen some good teams come out of that have done very well in the tournament, but it is sad that there are people who continue to post remarks about a teams ability when it has not been tested or proven. I get that some of the posts are just jabs by lonely posters who need reactions. What is depressing though is the fact that many people blindly offer opinions based on just personal choice, and not factual/logical information. I get that the GID is a site where everybody's opinion is welcome and levity is part of repartee, but several good debates go awry because of ridiculous statements. I am a fan of the Wolves and I agree with you completely.

Have you see both teams play, or have you seen both teams competition. I am a fan of the WOLVES, but you clearly don't understand football. IF PH can beat NV and that is a big if, they still could not compete against a team like Linton and certainly not against the larger teams in Terre Haute even when they (the Terre Haute schools) are down terribly. North Vermillion beat an Awful Evansville team last year who is a disgrace to Evansville football but I don't see PH competing with the large Terre Haute schools nor Linton either. PH has scored against weak teams and played a so-so game against a team that is tough but I would not call them a top tier football team. When this regular seasons is over I guess we will see if this unstoppable offense as you put it can make it to the very top in November.

Not sure Seeger getting its second win from another very poor team is something to be too excited about, and I am not sure you can make the claim that PH is Better than Linton.

I would call this Wolves team a challenge for a lot of teams but I tend to believe that they are not as prolific as some of the faithful hope. If you look at Attica's schedule and who they beat they had not been challenged much as well, and NO i am not saying Attica it a bad team. I am simply stating that Attica is the first physical team the Wolves have played and they did experience trouble with them. A lot of turnovers and it was sloppy game with a lot of penalties (several on Attica). I think the reason for that is because it was the first real competition either team had faced. Don't get me wrong I do root for the Wolves (along with a few other teams) for many reasons but, I have heard too many times on the GID that they are an unstoppable force. I in some ways hope that holds true and to go a bit further I don't see many real challenges until they meet NV. It will be very interesting to see this team go into the tournament and watch how they fare with better competition.
