Reitz and Central have probably played each other the most, but I don't know exact number of times.
Almanac sports shows 118 times if my math is correct...

It definitely feels like they've always dominated at the right years in 3A to not get bumped up as much as they should have. The best result they have had in 4A since SF has been introduced was a Sectional Championship in 2013.
Meanwhile, since that time, in 3A they have had 7 sectional championships, 6 regional championships, 5 semi-state championships, and 4 state championships (with 1 pending this weekend)Am I wrong in thinking that they have only been moved up once and they lost to New Pal and Roncali those two years they spent in 4A

My guess is Sectional 24 will stay at the 7 remaining teams.
Pike Central, Southridge, and West Vigo were all close to the bottom of 3A. Within 10 or so students of dropping to 2A. So that could change things as well. I always felt like both SR/HH were a package deal for sectional alignments, so just HH might get pulled back to SW IN.
But a safe assumption would be West Vigo moves up to 28 to replace Chatard should everyone else stay put.
I have heard Pike is coming down to 2A, Southridge will stay up and I have no idea about West Vigo

wish there was a way to get HH, SR, GS and Memorial all in the same Sectional, which would be a tough Sectional but great for the fans.
Part of me agrees but getting to watch HH/GS in a semi state game was pretty special.

What is the rule when breaking the huddle with more than 11 players. If I am interpreting what I read correctly, as long as the replaced player(s) run straight off the field there is no foul? What would make this a foul? I've read a 3-5 second allowance is sometimes used. Also if a no huddle team subs and the replaced players do not get directly off the field does that become a foul at some point prior to the ball being snapped? This is more for my own curiosity, not really anything I have seen. TIA

How is Coach Gengelbach doing? Any connections to this team?
Coach is doing well, goes to every game and even makes it out to watch a practice a time or two.
Many of the players had fathers or even grandfathers play for coach.

I don't disagree and made that argument last week when we were hearing how NP was going to blow MD out because MD beat Tell City by 1 score and NP blew Tell City out.
I think a high school kid said blow out…
That Viking offense must be pretty good, Memorial only scores 9 and 4A #2 Reitz only scored 14 on that 3 win MD D

I know North Posey has had a great year and is coming off of a huge win. I just don't know that Paoli can be counted out. Out of all of the offenses/schemes NP has seen, they will not have seen a full 4 qtrs of the flexbone that I know of. That's hard to replicate all week and prepare for. Paoli's offensive and defensive lines have played well all year and only gotten better. I dont think Paoli can be counted out of this discussion. Should be a great game.
Paoli is a great team and believe me the coaches know its going to take everything we have to win.

Lets go ahead and kick these discussions off. Probably the 2 best teams in 2A

Kinda stinks for North Posey in that regard - biggest win in program history, and it's a little tarnished by too many men on the last play.
I gotta ask though...didn't MD have North Posey in a 4th and long situation with like a minute to go and gave up a TD??? What the heck happened?
No tarnish! They got some calls, we got some calls its how the game goes. Heck we had 13 on the field but decided to run one off

Are any of the High Schools in Indiana that put in turf 15-20 years ago or more going back to grass?

I think we are looking at a low scoring defensive game. 10-7 Final.
I was thinking more like 28-7....

I am going to give much credit to North Posey. I'm guessing they are going to give Southridge all they want. Great team. If not for a couple penalties and a couple mental errors, this could have been a different outcome. @Cappy Good luck in sectionals....that is a good team and I'm really glad for a couple slip ups....
I was really pleased with our effort and thought our defense was really sound except for a few plays. HH was physical (as expected) and really played the game the right way (as usual.) Good luck to you guys as well.

Should be an electric atmosphere, really looking forward to it!

TC will NP in the mouth, the Vikes haven't seen much of that yet this year. Will TC attempt their first pass this week?
The Gibson vs South Warren game is probably the best game this week, North Knox vs Boonville could be a good one. I think the rest should be decided by a couple scores but wouldn't dismiss the idea of Tell City making it interesting in Poseyville...

T32 PAC Week 4 Power Rankings:
1. Heritage Hills
2. North Posey
3. Gibson Southern
4. Southridge
5. Mt. Vernon
6. Tell City
7. Boonville
8. Forest Park
9. South Spencer
10. Washington
11. Pike Central
12. Tecumseh
13. Princeton
Until proven otherwise I'd go GS, HH, SR as my top three. GS lost to an out of state powerhouse, HH has looked like a powerhouse, and SR is SR.

@Cappy As surprising as it may seem, I've actually been past that bridge, but it was late fall so I didn't get to pet any mosquitos...
I grew up about 5 miles from the bridge in the good county 😀

Bring some powerful bug spray. That might be the most mosquito invested place I've ever been..
Have @Titan32 take you down to the old red covered bridge sometime, you can pet mosquito's while exploring Gibson County History

9-2 last season and they think this team is better...maybe the best team they have had in some time.

The community talks very highly of this player:

Thats a nice two hand dunk on his hudl page, taking nothing away from the young man but doubt he is any faster than what they saw last Saturday. If they are better than last year it could be a real good game!
