CIC Week 3

Conference game begin:

Alexandria at Elwood    Alex rolls again this week. first 3 games are cake walks.  Running Clock

Frankton at Eastbrook   Someone gets there first win.  JH has Frankton by 4    But hard to win at Eastbrook.  Eagles by 1

Madison Grant at Blackford   MG keeps the winning streak going.  Running clock second half

Oak Hill at Mississinewa   Should be a good game .  Mississinewa by 14

Alexandria at Elwood--I can't remember the last time Elwood opened conference play with at least 1 win.  Elwood is improving under the new coach, but they still have a lot to do. Alex rolls through this one with a running clock the 2nd half.

Frankton at Eastbrook--When was the last time Eastbrook started out 0-2?  This game will be low scoring and will be decided by a safety or field goal.  Frankton may be favored, but with the game being at Eastbrook, Eastbrook has the edge and wins.

Madison Grant at Blackford--MG is just too much for Blackford.  Another running clock the second half.

Oak Hill at Mississinewa--This is the CIC game of the week.  Should be a good game.  Mississinewa has yet to play the 1st string units the entire game.  Last year the game came down to the wire with a Mississinewa goal stand so Oak Hill will be looking for revenge.  Mississinewa's defense is too solid and carries Mississinewa to the win by at least 14.

Alexandria at Elwood- Alex is to much for Elwood

Frankton at Eastbrook   -Its hard to bet against eastbrook in conference play . This will be the best game of week 3.

Madison Grant at Blackford-Blackford will struggle 

Oak Hill at Mississinewa   - Ole miss will take over this game in the second half.

Alex at Elwood - Tigers simply have more pieces than Elwood.  But Panther AD is making things happen...hope it pays off for his team down the road.

Frankton at Eastbrook - Eagles have lost to two teams ranked in 2A...neither seemed particularly close.  Panthers have lost to two teams w/ similar Sagarin ratings to Eagles opponents.  Think this one is a toss up...Give me the Panthers in one decided in the 4Q.

Madison Grant at Blackford - MG...subs in early.  

Oak Hill at Mississinewa - Two programs whose post season aspirations are hurt playing in the CIC.   Give me Mississinewa by 3.  Best game of the week.
