LCC beat WL for the first time since 2016, and like foxbat said, only Chatard and Harrison have held the WL offense to a td or less in the past decade. LCC won 12-7.

The NCC was once the best conference in the state, but this year Richmond and Anderson are 0-5 and Muncie Central's only win was against Anderson 55-12.  OH MY!

South Bend once had the best teams in the state, but this year SB Washington is 0-5 and SB Adams is 0-5.  South Bend Riley's only wins were against SB Washington and Hammond Noll.  OH MY!

It looks like the only team Avon can beat this year is Ben Davis, last years champion.  OH MY!

Munster scored their first points of the season this week.  They beat East Chicago Central 47-0.  East Chicago Central, OH MY!

I sure there are a lot of other OH MY's.  Post them here!

The other part of that equation is that Harrison, McCutcheon, and Logansport are now all gone from the NCC.  It may end up on life support for football in the not-too-distant future unless they can get some other teams in there.  Jeff, is sitting at 5-0, but the rest of the conference is rounded out with Marion at 3-2 and the remaining four teams with just 1 or 0 wins.

Of the folks that departed/kicked out ... Harrison, who moved up to 6A, is sitting at 3-2, McCutcheon is sitting at 2-3, and Logansport is sitting at 4-1 with its only loss coming in squeaker to LCC 23-21.  Logansport, despite voting out Harrison and McCutcheon, and then departing themselves for the Hoosier Conference, and Jeff, who voted out Harrison and McCutcheon and moved down to 5A, seemed to have benefited from the re-orgs.

It is sad to see what has happened to the teams in the NCC.  The NCC was always one of the best conferences in the state.  Richmond was always good until about 2003.  Richmond beat Lafayette Jeff every year from 1988-1997.  Richmond even beat Jeff in 1991, when Jeff beat Carmel for the sectional championship.  Marion went to state in 1988 and 1990, but lost to Ben Davis.  Anderson always played Lafayette Jeff tough.  Richmond played Ben Davis tough in 1992, but lost 24-14.  Ben Davis went on to state and lost to FW Snider in 1992.  I never thought I would see the day when LCC could beat Richmond, Anderson and Muncie Central in football. Oh MY!

How about 3A Mississinewa outscoring opponents 208-0 so far this season to remain the only high school in the nation that hasn't allowed a single point to be scored.

It will probably be 308-0 after the next two weeks.  Eastbrook and Madison-Grant might score on them

They count about as much as Muncie South does. 🙂

I agree 100% with you.  Blackford won't score and Mississinewa may put 60 up in the first half.  Elwood will be the same way.  Eastbrook and MG might give a threat but talking to some of the MG and Eastbrook fans they doubt they will score.
