23andCounting Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Throw records out the window. This is how it goes down head to head: @LC_Bears_04 Any interest in taking this over? I hate to see it go away, but with so little active participation, I don't feel like taking the time to do this anymore. Just trying to garner some participation on a dying forum. 1. Brownsburg 2. Rodney Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I'm dead serious, they are a better football team. Quote
Rodney Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago and not in the top 50 is highly questionable Crown point would make for a good #30 and LC a nice #27 Quote
Rodney Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago also lets go ahead and knock Bloomington south and floyd central down about 20 places and put some respect on east central, they can have CP's #11 spot Quote
23andCounting Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago I'm pretty well sold on my Top 9. I will admit, that both East Central and New Pal could very well crack that when it's all said and done with. However, I always sell 6A as being a different beast, and EC and NP have yet to play any of those teams. So forgive me for being skeptical. You might be right about FC and BS, I'm just trying to give some of the bigger teams from the south the benefit of the doubt..............buying into the hype. Dropping them twenty? Maybe. I'm sure Northrop and Warsaw would give them a run for their money. It's a crapshoot from 17-45. Quote

23andCounting Posted 10 hours ago Author Posted 10 hours ago @Boilernation Nice looking poll. You think Zionsville would beat Chatard, Cathedral, New Pal, and East Central? Good program, but that's an aggressive pick. Quote

Good program, but that's an aggressive pick. I'm betting on Zionsville's Offense. Defense is definately the weak link this year. Just seem uncharacteristically small up front. Offense is the opposite. OL is huge. Does a good job protecting the QB. QB is a 6'3 JR who can throw the ball downfield. They have a 6'5 SR TE who is a threat catching the ball downfield as an H back. They have 6'4 JR TE who already has offers from the best SEC and Big 10 programs. He is a complete mismatch in the slot position. And a 6'1 JR speedster at WR who has offers from about 4 or 5 MAC programs. They have been improving each week when the opponents jersey doesn't say Westfield. Zionsville starts a lot of JR's across O and D. I don't believe they have any 2 way players. Chatard: Nothing against them. I'm hearing this is one of their best teams in years. I can't put them in front of Cathedral. Cathedral: They seem down again compared to their standards. I'm sure that is in large part due to losing a lot of transfers to North Central, etc. Probably lost a lot of college level players to transfer. New Pal: Same as Cathedral. They seem down compared to their recent dominate teams. St. Francis is 1-4 on the year and struggling in the brutal Chicago Catholic League. New Pal barely beat them and Franny played the entire 2nd half with their 3rd string QB. Both Yorktown and Pendleton Heights caused issues for them. Only scored 6 against East Central. My guess is New Pal took a step back this year. East Central: New Pal win isn't as impressive as it would be in the past few years. Got absolutely boat raced by Elder. In fairness, Elder is a Top 10 Ohio Division 1 team this year. I'll give Zionsville the benfit of the doubt over EC. Especially if EC is playing multiple linemen both ways. Not sure if they do. Quote
