Indiana’s own Mike “Doc” Emrick inducted in to Broadcasters Hall of Fame

From LaFontaine, Indiana, one of the good guys in the broadcasting business; congratulations to Doc for this induction. One cool story about him occurred during the NHL strike in 2013. Doc follows the Fort Wayne Komets religiously, and with no work in sight, he came back during that season to do radio play by play of a Komets game. I do enjoy his play by play of games; truly one of the best around.
