Just heard in on 89.1–Tommie Williams and Wayne Svetanoff—I think it may have had to do with an ineligible player.

Did they explain at all?  An ineligible player would not cancel a game that has not yet been played.

Just checked the nwitimes.com score thread and Lowell leads Highland 20-7 at the half.  Wayne & Tommie have lots of explaining to do.

I have still heard nothing about a forfeit of the KV-Lowell game.

Twitter (Jim Peters) reports that Lowell will forfeit all of their games prior to Highland.  Lowell stands at 1-5 (1-1) going into week 8. 😵

Wow. I think Lowell can still tie for their conference title if they beat Munster and Andrean.

Strange indeed.  An uncharacteristic black eye on an otherwise model football program.  The NWI Times reports that CP, Portage, Wheeler, Griffith, and KV all add a +1 in the win column.  The Hobart game stands as a no-contest.  Arguably the best 1-5 team in that state...
