you certainly don't like to be challenged do you.  You hate it that there on a few on this forum that gets fed up with your constant "know it all attitude"

You weren't in the stands all those years.  So you don't know.  You have no idea how hard that coaching staff and those kids worked to SUSTAIN an incredible level of performance.  You were NOT there in the stands during the 5A years to see the type of teams like Columbus East, Columbus North, Bloomington South, Franklin Central, etc. brought in with outstanding coaches.  Most people that have competed on an athletic field think twice before diminishing a team's long period of success and even worse, diminish and insult the programs said team competed against.  Most that compete learn to respect their opponents.  But you are an "expert" because you can look at scores and drawn steadfast conclusions.  You've invested nothing, sit a million miles away, and diminish accomplishments that other posters on this forum acknowledge, because at the end of the day, you simply can't stop your fingers from pecking away.  As JMV would say, "pure jacka$$ery".

And yes, any adult that diminishes what kids accomplish and programs they compete against absolutely does need to "get a life".

Very well said Bash . And this "Adult" says he's a teacher, that is absolutely frightening to me . The very thought of this Tool around children should be a crime . And we wonder what's happening to society , I think we have our answer .

why were you eating breakfast at 10 in the morning

He can't leave the Tool room for an extended time, he might miss something that would make him go 7-10, God forbid. He loves to tell everyone how good he is at predicting High School football games. All the info he uses is right on the web, but most people don't have a special room for TOOLS like he does. Most people have a real job and a life, so spending hours researching Sagarin, Harrell, etc is not an option. Temp is the kid who rode the pine on his high school Tennis, Soccer and Cross-Country teams, who somehow morphed into Indiana's Mr. Football.

You’re gonna make me crush you with stats again aren’t you?

I’ll check back in later.  Hitting breakfast with my 8 out of 10.

You actually have time to come out of mommy's basement to get breakfast ? Shouldn't you be behind the PC looking up pages after pages of stats, so you can try and prove someone's post wrong? Better grab Mcdonalds to go so you can get back down to the Tool room .

0-2 on the night in 6A.  Two classic OT games that could have gone either way.

Pretty cool that we get fresh geographical representation from the north in 6A for the second year in a row.  I’ve said for years that 6A central Indiana rematches/schools within 20 miles of monument circle playing for a state title is boring.  Congrats to CP.

Also cool a Penn guy is having Crown Point fight his battles and serve as the foundation for some sort of attempted trash talk.

Man, maybe Penn has fallen farther than I thought…

Hilarious, you have every school within 25 miles of Monument Circle fighting your battles.

Spilling more BS as usual, when you talk about falling , how did your warriors do this year? Snider came down and curb stomped them, LOL

It was implied.  Just stop.  It’s a thread giving predictions about a tournament game.

Other than Penn who even COMES to central Indy regularly?

It was implied maybe in your warped mind .I'll give you another one. He said "over the years" and you said in the last 15 years. Again adding things to fit your narrative. He could of been talking about 30-40 years. Let me guess , he was implying 15 years?

Penn has ONE win on the road in the tournament against a central Indy team in the last 15 years.

HSE traveled to Carroll last year...

Snider won AT Westfield in 2014...can't find any other examples...

What are you even talking about?

Where Did he say anything about "In the Tournament" ??? We all know you like to add content to fit your narrative.

Had a great pass game that year, it was disabled severely that night. The "Mud Bowl" is what we called it. Finally went artificial turf about three years ago. If Snider wins state this year, maybe Penn can come see it next year.

Penn had a good team as well in 97 , but Snider was better . One of them games where the better team did not win .

He was going left to right from the Penn point of view. I remember that like it was yesterday. Before the game, Geesman said "this might be the best team I've ever seen on film." In my opinion, that team ranks in the Snider Top 4 of all time.

Yup, I bet the Snider player still has nightmares about that play. And I agree , that Snider team was special, lots of speed everywhere.

They have one of the top Jr receivers in the State and they try to get him the ball often, but have been relaying on the running game lately.

I'll bet that changes when they see that Penn threw for 360 yards on CP . Penn is a more run oriented offense , but you take what the defense gives .

I'm sure I was at that game, can't recall what happened. Please give me the run down.

I was at that game with my 10 year old daughter wet and cold . Snider player was in the open field untouched and no Penn defender within 20 yards ,  running to score a touchdown to win the game , when the grass reached up and tackled him. Game went into OT and Penn won and went on to win their 3rd state title in a row .

You are correct, I went back to 1994, so you have info for last 20 years, my error on time snap shot

Here is what I see on John Harrell site since 1994

    2022 - L - Valpo

    2015 - W - Kokomo

    2014 - L - LaPorte

    2012 - W - M-ville

    2004 - W - Penn

    2002 - W - Valpo

    1997 - L - Penn

But what would this look like if the ground didn't tackle the Snider player in 97 . 5-2

I have watched some video on Merrillville, great team speed, lots of good athletes, undisciplined at times, likes to run the ball quite a bit. When motivated and engaged in the game, they are tough to beat. If Snider can get ahead by double digits, not sure Merrillville will stay in and fight back. I will stand by statement before the Mishawaka game, beating Mishawaka would be harder than Merrillville or Valpo

I think the Mishawaka game will springboard Snider right into LOS . If history tells us anything , Snider is very tough to beat in Fort Wayne .

Let’s get it started!  Westfield has a lot of tournament experience ! Cp has none! Westfield plays in a more competitive conference! Duneland is as good as a 5a  competition !  My prediction is this! Who cares what all you think  !
let’s hope the Westfield player who got hurt has a speedy recovery and the game is great and both teams play their hearts out ! The better team will prevail no matter what the coaches or officials call !

Expect the unexpected! The kids are giving everything they have!! Luv the process and luv the pride and joy and the experience as parents and community go through and make their kids better human beings!

I think the game being at CP they have a punchers chance . Most won't agree but we'll see.

When Crown Point blocked the game tying extra point...I knew any kick from that point were questionable.

The only thing I might have done different is going for the endzone at the end of the game. I just felt that even though the odds of scoring were low, we had been so successful that drive, it just felt like the right option.

But, Crown Point used their God given height to their advantage, and got a hand on the kick.

Penn has had no kicker all year . If you look at a post of mine about a month ago , I mention Penn not having a good placekicker will hurt them deeper into the playoffs .

This is my personal thought only and won't be a popular opinion. After watching Cathedral put a running clock on Penn 35-0 at half 35-6 final (Penn had a PR for TD late in the game), and Crown Point struggle to a 34-33 win over the Kingsmen I don't foresee Crown Point being a threat to Westfield. I don't think CP will get blown out but more like a 28-14, 35-20 type of game. Westfield has to travel to Crown Point which is a positive for CP.

Granted I know Penn has likely improved since playing Cathedral and Crown Point has improved, but I believe Westfield has improved as well . Outside of the Brownsburg and Zionsville game Westfield has been pretty solid all year long.

Can't use transitive property, it means squat .
