Yeah... ther is always someone in ur way... either a good program or a lightning in a bottle team... or both at the same time... 1A is a diff animal... the low numbers keep any one program from dominating indefinitely... public or private I think history bears it out... Sheridan,Lcc, Pioneer, Luthern... i dont think Lcc would still be winning 1a titles but can hold ther own in ther 2a Sec... i get the beef against Chatard... but until the ihsaa fine tunes the success factor by say... seeding the entire tournament... programs will bounce down maybe sooner than they would if that were in place... Sec 28 is just ridiculous if u truly want the success factor to operate in a pure fashion.... jmho

No worries... I respect the AC program... they won a State Title... so they Know what it takes... i've been around since 3 class FB... sooo when someone like BTF puts his credibility on the line making a bonehead statement like 90/80% of 1a Titles would go to this AC squad... its just absurd... the closest thing to that I can remember was when 84? Sheridan fans thout they could win the BiG School Title... 😄 I'm sure their staff knew better... but hey it's alotta fun to speculate! 😊

With week 7 in the books... id guess Triton Central has an edge to win 2A... not to say someone else in 2a south couldnt knock em off.. 2a north is an absolute free 4 all... id give a slight edge to Luers right now if I had to choose... as for Lcc... sag has them way up ther right now... n im not sure they can get by the Zebras with the way Tippy Valley dismantled WL... too bad TV is in the Sec of Death... that Sec is absolutely loaded... maybe more so than I can recall... n dats alotta yrs!! Id still say 2a overall is not as strong at the top as in yrs gone by... jmho

Great week to get a gage on what appears to b a down year in 2A... Lcc taking it on the chin vrs Guerin, WL and couldnt score vrs Ham Heights.. with Tippy Valley vrs WL (Tippy having blown out Rodchester) and Andrean vrs Chatard.... 2a north may get a little clearer... aaaaahhh gotta love the transitive property of HS football... 🤔😄

I never won that argument.. 😆 42 has a rightful claim... their members beat the so called National Champs and they were never beaten... hard to argue that... think the final state poll had them around 5th?

WL lore says the undefeated 42 team.. scored on once.. coached by Malcomb Mackey ast coach Gorden Straley..was National Champs. As members of that team forming the Meridian Athlectic Club, were said to have defeated the National Champ Junior Bears at Soldier Field... at least it's how I heard the story.. 😁

That lil school has an amazing gene pool.... ther a reason they ended a Fantastic Jeff Teams 29 yr sec streak n were a breath away from 2 final 4s in one class hoops tourney... n daughters keep changing ther names! getting a group together is the hard part ... esp for FB!! Take a look at names for 69.. 99.. 09.. 39? 49?? 🤣

I would suggest it's more a reflection of rule changes than anything else... the typically less Beefier team has Way fewer TOOLS these days... to even out the line play... places a premium on creativity, timing, anticipation.... ect

Getting ur mouthgaurd knocked outta ur teeth builds character!... No prob picking against Lcc... jus makes it sweeter... when they beat the odds!! 😇
