  1. I think they are a little more aligned than the left is comfortable with, so the story of a "rift" continues.....
  2. https://www.thecollegefix.com/berkeley-co-op-person-of-color-theme-house-bans-white-guests-from-common-spaces/ Students move into the POC house ‘to be able to avoid white violence and presence,’ rules state White guests are banned from the common spaces at the Person of Color House, an off-campus housing option for Berkeley students, according to a photo of the guest rules recently posted on Reddit. Under a section labeled “Guests in Common Spaces,” it states: “Guests are allowed in common spaces but please be mindful if there are house members in the room beforehand. White guests are not allowed in common spaces (see intro).” The POC House intro states in part that many members moved in “to be able to avoid white violence and presence.” When students do bring a guest, the rules direct them to announce it in the house guest chat and note “if they are white.” Isn't this itself racist?
  3. Really need a scorecard to follow this one.......Dude marries another guy (for 5 years), divorces, becomes trans, identifies as a woman, and now falls in love with a woman (described as "just a gay girl").....HOLLYWOOD KIDS.....must be the trend _ you do you I guess..... https://www.analyzingamerica.org/2022/08/665475/?fbclid=IwAR1fW7AlrLByaxm-COkV3-IzsA0Mef8WxtWSEe5zDEEyXfKBHaIRPNVKSyQ TV Star Divorces Husband, Announces Self As Trans Woman, Is Now Engaged To ‘A Gay Girl’ By David Rufful - August 18, 2022 Actor Tommy Dorfman, 33, is well known for the role of Ryan Shaver on “13 Reasons Why.” Dorfman has announced the end of a five-year-long marriage and now publicly identifies as a transgender woman. Dorfman is now engaged and describes her as “just a gay girl” who is “very affirming.” “I fell in love with someone who doesn’t fetishize me,” Dorfman told fellow actress Rachel Bilson. Dorfman divorced Peter Zurkuhlen after they were married for five years. “I knew I was interested in women in a way that I hadn’t really been aware of since high school,” Dorfman said. “I had this unresolved, unexplored thing. I was like, ‘This is the year that I’m gonna go on some dates with girls and feel that out again, and not feel ashamed about it.’” “I think if I hadn’t booked that job I would have transitioned a lot sooner,” Dorfman said. “I think because of my work being so tied to my body and face and identity, or whatever [a character] identified as, it delayed some of my growth and some of my maturation in my 20s. I made decisions that were just not aligned with how I really was or what I wanted — but out of fear.” “I think if you’re living with dysphoria, it’s not so dissimilar to living actively in alcoholism or addiction,” Dorfman said. “You’re living in a fog. You’re living underwater, basically.” “For me, I always felt like other people had a guidebook for life that I just did not [have],” Dorfman continued. “I would always be like, ‘How did you know how to brush your teeth twice a day?’ That’s crazy. Or, ‘You know how to make a bed?’ Or these simple basic human things that were just not available to me.” “Or, like, emotions. I was like, ‘You feel emotions outside of acting? That’s weird.’ The acting was the only way I could feel things until I started transitioning. Then it was like, boom!”
  4. https://www.wndu.com/2022/08/18/mom-fatally-shot-home-intruder-defend-kids-she-says/?fbclid=IwAR3Cz_tLUDqMCAhm7sFefZitPM0BcHNVDDcZzqBx-ifFwGzOcMCbyffalOI MILWAUKEE (WTMJ) - A family of three is now traumatized after they say a strange man broke into their home, and the mother fatally shot him while defending her children, she claims. A mother of two, who asked not to be identified, was showering before work Monday morning when she heard her children, ages 12 and 14, screaming from the living room. Still dripping wet, she says she ran to her bedroom, grabbed her gun and faced down a strange man, who she claims broke into her home. She says the man charged, undeterred by her dogs, and she shot him in self-defense. “It all happened so fast — an adrenaline rush,” she said. Community activist Bushraa Rahman helped clean up the home after authorities removed the body. “She was scared because her children were there with her. So, she did what any mother would do. She defended her children,” Rahman said. “It was an act of self-defense.” Police have not identified the man. The mother says he appeared to be in his late 30s and was acting erratically. Following the shooting, police arrested the mother then released her several hours later after questioning. They referred the case to the district attorney’s office for review. “In today’s day and age, with mental health and everything else that’s taking place in the world, I mean, you better protect yourself. To be honest, you have to,” Rahman said. The mother says her children are traumatized after the incident, and the family intends to move out once they find a new place to live. She says she bought the gun 10 years ago after finding a man sleeping under her son’s bed. She says she hoped she’d never have to use it. Scary event - she gets the "atta girl" for having the means and being able to effectively protect herself and kids.
  5. What-ever....... Lets just (for DE's sake) pretend this has even a snowball's chance in Hades of happening. Desantis becomes the heir-apparent, glides to an easy win in 2024 over who or what ever the left nominates then pardons the Don.
  6. Yes, his conviction/trial was on tax evasion and prohibition charges, but Elliot Ness wasn't the IRS......BUT read this little history, it's kind of interesting. https://www.fbi.gov/history/famous-cases/al-capone
  7. No. Are you suggesting the IRS is "the police"? Surely you can see my inference to the current administration potentially considering the IRS as another branch of the military......
  8. Totally sickening......(part of SF's "degradation of society" warning about a decade ago that I was told is a "conspiracy theory")
  9. Actually the IRS would most likely be issued a fully automatic M4 - that I thought was only available to the military.......Oh wait a minute....
  10. SF's favorite excerpt from this story - Trump had a "standing order" as president that automatically declassified material he moved from the Oval Office to his residence at the White House. "Cavalier" or not, this will be the obvious defense IF there is ever a serious pursuit of prosecution. This detail is being overtly ignored......
  11. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/plans-rename-monkeypox-stigmatization-concerns-rcna43012 LONDON — The World Health Organization says it’s holding an open forum to rename the disease monkeypox, after some critics raised concerns the name could be derogatory or have racist connotations. In a statement Friday, the U.N. health agency said it has also renamed two families, or clades, of the virus, using Roman numerals instead of geographic areas, to avoid stigmatization. The version of the disease formerly known as the Congo Basin will now be known as Clade one or I and the West Africa clade will be known as Clade two or II. WHO said the decision was made following a meeting of scientists this week and in line with current best practices for naming diseases, which aims to “avoid causing offense to any cultural, social, national, regional, professional, or ethnic groups, and minimize any negative impact on trade, travel, tourism or animal welfare.” Numerous other diseases, including Japanese encephalitis, Marburg virus, Spanish influenza and Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome have been named after the geographic areas where they first arose or were identified. WHO has not publicly suggested changing any of those names. So since being discovered back in 1958, "Monkeypox" is now "derogatory" or "racist"?
  12. Stored illegally on a personal home-based server nonetheless......
  13. Wait a tick.....POTUS Biden yesterday stated we had 0% inflation last month......(With prices way up and production down) https://slate.com/business/2022/08/biden-zero-inflation-republicans-economy.html https://nypost.com/2022/08/10/with-prices-up-and-output-down-bidens-boast-of-0-inflation-is-beyond-parody/ Sooooo - Then why do we need the Inflation Reduction Act?
  14. "Untouchable" https://nypost.com/2022/08/10/so-fbi-why-no-raid-of-hunter-bidens-house/ The message was unmistakable at Joint Base Andrews Wednesday, two days after former President Donald Trump’s Florida home was raided by the FBI. There, boarding Air Force One at 1:20 p.m., shoulder to shoulder with his father, the president, was Hunter Biden, whose home has never been raided. Despite a snail’s pace grand-jury investigation into his suspect business dealings by the US attorney in Joe Biden’s crony state of Delaware, despite copious documentary evidence that he accepted millions of dollars from America’s adversaries in exchange for influencing his father, the then-vice president, despite actively working with Communist China to extend “belt-and-road” imperialism across the globe to undermine America, Hunter, 52, looked as if he didn’t have a care in the world. Dressed in a suit and tie and accompanied by wife Melissa Cohen and toddler son Beau Biden, he made his way slowly up the stairs of the presidential jet, alongside Joe, exchanging private jokes before stopping at the top to turn and face the waiting cameras, father and son, giving the world a lingering view of their brazen smiles before they jetted off for a seven-day vacation to a favorite family haunt, Kiawah Island, SC. “We are untouchable” was the unspoken message.
  15. (Copied from a friend's post) Do the math my friends. According to IRS records there are 2.8 million tax returns where people earn $400,000 or more. Our newest legislation calls for hiring 87,000 new IRS agents that according to the White House yesterday, WILL NOT BE INVOLVED IN REVIEWING OR AUDTITING any taxpayer who earns less than $400,000 per year. Divide 2.8 million by 87,000 and you will find that each of the "new" agents will only have to deal with 32 taxpayers annually to cover EVERYONE that earns over $400,000. Still believe this is true...hahaha
