OK, I just need your name, email address, a short essay on why you believe Bermuda Grass is superior to artificial turf, and I will put you on the list. -

3a Tourney Predictions
TommyTwoTimes replied to MikeTyson15's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
On the contrary, I'm really hoping Luers keeps marching on all the way to the Big House. For entertainment value if nothing else. Never seen a fanbase of a team that just won state have such a big chip on its shoulder. IF Heritage Hills makes it back to LOS, whoever's there from the north wil be a worthy opponent. No question about it. Whether it's Garrett, Knox, or Maconaquah I know it will be a hard fought battle. I'm sure even Luers would probably put up a good fight. 🙂 -

3a Tourney Predictions

See, now this is the kind of stuff I'm always hoping to find on these forums. These Luers guys are locked cocked and ready to rock! I'm sincerely hoping they do conquer the north and make the trip to Indy. Looking at the Sagarin, all the polls, and then checking out this thread it looks like the Knights are the Rodney Dangerfields of 3A. As for the North Posey game last year... I know nothing about the 2024 Luers but these are definitely not last years Patriots. -
Sectional 32 - 2024

😄 All in good fun. Southridge is solid. I'm interested to see if Fisher can make it through this one with his "unpickable" season still intact. As a team Southridge has 17 INT's for the season. Their QB Justin Leathers is an athlete especially on the ground. They've also got a couple kids with speed that may not show up on your radar depending on what game films your watching. Noah Wright has been battling injuries all year, but when he's in the game he makes a difference quick quick quick. Taking all that into consideration I'm thinking the preps from Eville run away with it (42-18). Memorial -24. Take it to the bank 😉 -

Please, by all means, jump ahead a week. We all know how the bracket's going to look leading up to next Friday. Let's GO! Besides, though I adamantly disagree, I'd much rather read about how you think Heritage Hills is going to be just another Castle game for the Tigers, than look at one more Sagarin analysis predicting the outcome of Memorial vs Memorial at Fantasy Land Field. Let's talk about a game that's really going to happen instead. The boys need to keep their minds focused on this week's opponent, but as for me I can't wait until next Friday night! -

My thoughts exactly! Would have offered a little insight into the upcoming collision in The Jungle that seems imminent next Friday. HH/GS and Memorial/ MD were two very similar games!

$50 Parlay for this Friday night (HH-14, Memorial - 14, and ML on the Ridge) This would be a cashable ticket on Saturday morning. Just my humble opinion, but if this was an option on Draft Kings Sportsbook I would have already put it in. -

I'd agree, that is a pretty "Hatchety" thing to do. I get it though. I get it... -

Maybe, but that table is ridiculous. I'm sure Hurley's got that posted at the top of Memorial's locker room bulletin board right now. -

I'm with the consensus on this one. Noah Wright and the Raiders will wrap up the Small School PAC championship with a big V in H-town. The kid is greased lightning! -

10 points? I don't know. Honestly, I posted that with tongue in cheek. Obviously the main toss up on that list is Heritage Hills and Memorial. There's no common opponents to make any kind of real prediction on that game as far as I can tell. The media kind of went Captain Insano about Memorial shellacking Reitz, but I'd say that was what most people who were paying attention expected. Same can be said about Heritage Hills' strong performance over an injury weakened Gibson Southern. The likely meeting of Memorial and Heritage Hills in Sectional 32 has got to be the most interesting game left in Southern Indiana and my popcorn will be ready! But yeah, I think Heritage Hills will be getting ready for their next opponent while the Memorial players are handing in their gear. -

Looks pretty spot on to me with one toss up... Not sure about Mater Dei over Gibson Southern. 🙂 -
PAC Week 7 Games

OK, to me "many moons = a long time. 4 years is kind of a long time. And going by the game I watched on Saturday, what a difference 4 years can make. At any rate, all I was saying with the seemingly controversial "many moons" terminology was that, like you, I don't expect it to be quite as much of a beatdown the next time these two prestigious programs meet up. -

Was a bit surprised to look in the box score and see Gibson had reached 150 in all purpose yardage. Very uncharacteristic of the usual Titan/ Patriot showdown. I'd say we'd better savor the flavor because a beatdown like that probably won't be something we'll see again with this matchup for many many moons. I don't like to complain about the officiating, especially in a game that lopsided, but some of the calls had me wondering if perhaps Patrick Mahomes was on the sidelines wearing maroon and gold. Much more could be said on the issue but I'll leave it at that.
