  1. 75-Erik Bedock- yes, he has multiple D2-3 and NAIA offers spread between 5 states. He hasn’t committed to one yet. Thanks for the nod. Love, His Mom Thanks for the years of entertainment, Gridiron. It’s been fun!
  2. Running clock start of second half. Varsity played the first series on O and D second half then it was JV rest of 3rd and all of 4th. JV scored twice I believe. Gotta say how sweet the Whiting facilities were. Never had been before, and I was impressed. Cool town. It was crappy that the visitors had so many more fans in attendance making the long drive over the home team. In the end this is high school football and they should have had some home team support. Whiting had heart and top notch sportsmanship. LV is healthy and ready for the Championship.
  3. Lost a ref early to an injury. When that happens generally things go South. I don’t think they were bad calls in general, just decision making took a while. Clock situation was not on the refs, sure they were as frustrated. It wasn’t one sided so not home field intentional- it ran regardless who had the ball. Just one of those bizarre games that left both sides a little bamboozled. Clock would start before ball set, ref would move ball, clock still ticking….it was one for the memory books🤪
  4. Anyone know how the process works from All Conference to All State? I get the HNAC coaches know the conference players, but how is All State chosen? Is it a statewide 2A coaches vote? You can’t tell me coaches know the other side of the states player’s performance!?Review film? Just curious.
  5. Well everyone picked Bremen, then Pioneer over Laville. Never say never!
  6. Very true- missing approx. 500 lbs on our line and several key playmakers. The freshmen and sophomores stepped up to support the handful of not quarantined juniors and one senior. This team is something special, for sure.
  7. Fun fact....Laville’s entire O line is freshmen and sophomores-including a freshman QB.
  8. Let us not forget the incoming sophomores For LV ran through the conference as 8th graders going undefeated. Pioneer (and others) walked off the field mid game. I suspect the majority of the 23’ class will see starting roles this season for LaVille. It may take this year to gel again, but I predict stout 21-22 seasons.
