  1. You played college football? D1? At the Power 4 level? Damn. Didn't know that. Big boy football is also theoretical to you dude. Otherwise you would not keep bringing it up. If you can tell me specifially with your advanced "experience"...how do "stolen signs" assist your offense in scoring 42 and 45 points in consecutive years, and then 30 in the third contest in which your head coach and "spy" were suspended? You keep citing the press release but have you watched the Netflix doc? Pretty eye opening. And of course the run in 2024/25 is different. No one is debating differenly. That 23 team had 17 guys that were either drafted or received UDFA spots. (And then they came back in 2024 and beat OSU with a walk-on QB, lol.) But sure...it was "the signs." What losses for Moore are "terrible?" USC this year?
  2. Guess it all depends on how much weight you place on the big wins versus the bad losses. Two losses was usually a death sentence prior to the CFP era so I feel many folks are willing to overlook the bad early season losses if you close strong, which Notre Dame did last year and is likely to do this year.
  3. Nah, I don’t. Just yanking your chain. I do like how folks have such a quick rush to judgment in both directions, however. I’ll just end with this. Freeman isn’t as good as many of you are claiming and Sherrone isn’t as bad. Let’s revisit this after the 2026 season.
  4. Freeman ever beaten Bama? Sherrone has never lost to a MAC school… Someone on this board even compared Freeman to the all-time ND greats.
  5. Just asked a simple question, that’s all. Just been told that Sherrone is awful and Freeman is a top 5 coach. Why won’t you answer?
  6. Separate question for the board… Can anyone tell me Marcus Freeman’s record against his alma mater as the head coach at Notre Dame?
  7. Oh, I’ve read it. Doesn’t state anywhere the specific impact it had on the outcome of games. Figured an intellectual football mind like yourself (I mean since you repeatedly remind the board you played the game) would be able to point to some specific X’s and O’s that gave Michigan a tangible competitive advantage. And if so, why did they continue to win once the guilty party was dismissed from the program? Whatcha got for us Hallmark Hoosier?
  8. Love watching a snake eat its own tail. ”It should have been a 60 year show cause!”
  9. Look at the box scores. You said yourself that the NCAA was spineless. They went heavy on the show cause portion to give clowns like you the appearance they were taking things seriously.
  10. No, the fact that they won AFTER the cheating proves that the “cheating” was marginal at best. It became a boogeyman talking point (mainly from Michigan’s rivals (and Matt Ruhle)) to save their jobs and justify why they were getting their teeth kicked in. Michigan gave up 27 and 23 against OSU with “the spy” and then 24 and 10 against them without him and after claiming they “changed their signs.” Man, all of those ass beatings Michigan has given IU over the years sure has left its mark.
  11. Can you show me where I said that it wasn’t wrong? It was obviously wrong. Now, to the extent it changed anything that actually happened on the field I think the results speak for themselves. Teams began to huddle, and Ohio State claimed for three consecutive years that they changed their signs before the Michigan game and they went 0-3. Leading up to the Rose Bowl, Saban scoffed at the insinuation that he should be concerned at any level about Michigan “stealing signs.” But hey, GID resident in fraction expert @Footballking16 is outraged.
  12. Gimme the nuts and bolts of WHY though. You claim the NCAA is spineless in one sentence yet want to cite the show cause penalty in the second? Which is it? Why did the results on the field not change after the supposed “spy” was let go? Gimme some substance here instead of emotions.
  13. No. But you keep dropping the term MASSIVE to describe the scandal. WHY was it so "massive?"
  14. Big cheating scandals usually result in forefited games, postseason bans, etc... Talk to me about how it impacted games. You keep ducking the question. You watch Indiana on Saturday but spend the other 6 days on here obsessing about Michigan. Sad.
  15. 1. All I am doing is restating what the NCAA has said and verified after its findings..."Michigan won fair and square" was the exact statement. 2. There are different levels of "cheating" and while whataboutism is an unattractive trait, I have still yet to see anyone on here make a case that it in anyway affected games. The "spy" was let go and then Michigan rolled through Penn State, Maryland, Ohio State, Iowa, Alabama and Washington...with Harbaugh suspended for 3 of those. 3. They then go and beat Ohio State and Alabama AGAIN the follwing year without Harbaugh or "the spy." 4. His name is MOORE, not Morris. 5. Michigan is on the "struggle bus" at 7-2 with all of its goals in front of them despite having the youngest team in the Big Ten? I had them at 7-2 at this stage when the schedule came out, though I had them losing to Nebraska and beating USC. The over/under on win totals for this season was 8.5 according to Vegas. They are right on pace. This was always going to be a developmental year. 6. Your definition of struggle bus is comical. If a 7-2 team is on the struggle bus then what are you saying about other normally elite programs like Clemson, Florida State, Penn State, Nebraska, Florida and Tennessee? I mean there are two threads dedicated to LSU but this thread only focuses on one "blue blood." Everybody wants to line up for their "gotcha" moment on the Temp. 7. IU is better than Michigan. No doubt. Not sure if you wanted to hear that from me to feel better? I've stated that I was wrong about Cignetti. Dude is elite. They have an elite 22 year old at the most important position on the field. That kinda matters.
  16. Believe it or not, I am an IU grad (Indy) myself, lol. Not sure why that matters. For an IU fan, you sure are mysteriously obsessed with another team in the Big Ten despite being in the midst of the greatest run in your program's history. (And its absolutely hilarious.)
  17. Ah, my bad. The "we" I was referring all the way back to our 2022 bet in which the Wolverines were doomed entering "The Shoe" after you spotted me 20.5 points in a game Michigan wound up winning by 23. Forgot that you are now an IU fan. Don't expect any "fluffing" but one side of your mouths claim they are irrelevant while the other convinces you to run to your keyboard to throw attempted shade at every opportunity. You keep referring to this "cheating" but not one damn person on here has told me specifically how the "scandal" impacted games...
  18. You're bound to be right one of these years so you can take your victory lap. The vitriol for the maize and blue on this board is hysterical.
  19. And Cathedral played Southport, who PH and Yorktown’s freshmen could hang with.
  20. Decatur Central, Pendleton Heights and Yorktown are not pushovers, nor is Plainfield. I feel like this is said annually about New Pal and they prove this narrative wrong more often than not.
  21. Eh, just strikes me as “yeah, you beat us, but our uniforms and cheerleaders were prettier.”
  22. 6A: Warren Central (20) 5A: Michigan City (34) 4A: Martinsville (99) 3A: Indian Creek (94) 2A: Indianapolis Lutheran (108) 1A: LaVille (127)
  23. I am. I’ll take the blame.
