  1. He chose his words wisely and of course “got your goat.” Just so damn easy. Right?
  2. I don’t trust a guy whose favorite team has never been in a conference thus has never played in a conference championship contest. Sorry. Honest question since you @GOLDRUSH1985 keep mentioning “close losses”. Did you watch the first Oklahoma/Bama game? If folks’ time was limited and a giant has been woken up, then why did the Irish pull out of their bowl game? I’d want to play as soon as possible and send a message. Instead, they whined, stuck their tail between their legs, took their ball and went home. Losers.
  3. TWO embarrassing regular season losses now? The Oklahoma loss was embarrassing?
  4. @ Mizzou @ Georgia vs Vandy vs Tennessee Much better than a home win over a USC team in a downpour. No. But that helped ND, no doubt. Oh yeah, and SHERRONE MOORE beat James Franklin in their only meeting.
  5. Alabama had four wins better than any win Notre Dame had.
  6. Don’t need excuses when you’ve been the most dominant team in the country over the last 10 years. If I’m 15, that obviously makes you 6.
  7. Rivalry game. Crazy things happen. You see every team’s flaws but your own.
  8. Game changing INT by Commanders DB Mikey Sainristil, reminiscent of the one he snagged against former Indiana QB Michael Pennix (then of Washington) to clinch the 2023 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP for the Michigan Wolverines. Stalions is everywhere this week! KC, NY and LA?
  9. HUGE INT and near big man TD for Lions DL Aidan Hutchinson! Almost looked like he knew the play! “The signs.”
  10. Congrats to Jim Harbaugh, Jessie Minter and the LA Chargers for eliminating the Chiefs from the playoff race, breaking their 11 year streak en route to their 10th win of the season. But, “the signs.”
  11. But 365 days ago @23andCounting kept going on and on about how Notre Dame was a different team at the beginning of the season then they were in December. But won’t give Bama that same grace. Maybe Georgia improved and is just really damn good?
  12. And ND lost to NIU last year AT HOME. That’s the equivalent of losing to FSU and UGA. Should count double.
  13. You see what you want to see. Was it widely accepted Bama didn’t play well in the two losses you mentioned?
  14. Oh, I don’t either but some do.
  15. How many of us on this board are graduates of the football program that we root for?
  16. Believe it or not, I actually agree that Miami jumping ND last week despite not having played was shady. If you have an 8th favorite team, you aren’t doing it correctly. Now, wanting to see a team do well, sure? You also have a second favorite wife?
  17. Yeah, but barely beating Boston College is as good as winning AT Georgia right? We could do this all day.
  18. ND folks resorting to “we barely lost.” Sad times.
  19. Vitale IS an Irish fan, lol. The entire point of your post was to claim that “these two guys feel the same was as ND fans” lol. Not mad at all. Now, if you wanna see MAD, just click on the “Notre Dame 2025” thread and rehash you lighting yourself on fire all day last Sunday. Notre Dame fans, who have benefitted from every damn rule in the sport for over a century suddenly claiming to be victims. Who could have seen it coming? Their tradition used to be filling their trophy case, now they’ve been regulated to screaming into an echo chamber about their exclusion from the playoff. Sad times. “2nd fav college team.” LOL.
  20. No but @23andCounting attempted to paint he and Barkley as a couple of casuals with no skin in the game, lol.
  21. Vitale is the biggest ND homer out there, lol. His daughters went there. And lol at Barkley knowing anything about football… Do you think before you post?
  22. “Got your goat!!!” What’s the score now? Loser.
  23. Even worse. An IU fan on this board makes that same claim.
  24. Never say never. May seems like an amazing human being but this time last week I would have said the same about Moore. Side note, though it’s not the kind of notoriety a program would want, anyone find it kind of hysterical that on the day we are crowning the Heisman and a week out from the CFP, Michigan talk is STILL dominating the college football world, including this board? Kinda comical honestly. If this were Rutgers, no one would care. I think this is what the Notre Dame fans on this board refer to as “relevance.”
