Try again There have only been 2 Logansport football players make their way to Pioneer in the last 30 years. Both came in 2001 due to disciplinary issues at Logansport.

They did…that’s how they beat 6AChesterton and Andrean and went to 2A semi-state when those players were seniors🙄

Don’t believe a matchup with Pioneer carries any weight for Triton other than they’ve never beaten them. Pioneer has talent but lacks heart to be a factor this season.

Didn’t read thru this thread, but did something happen to Drayk Bowen? Curious why anyone thinks the defending champs with the best player returning can be dismissed. Apparently, y’all didn’t see the clip titled “Angry Drayk” from the other night. Good luck 2A

I would still argue Triton has the best individual player in the conference.

I have to admit after watching Laville Triton game and North Judson Caston game on IHSAATV I don’t think it is close as Laville will go unbeaten and win their first conference title. And with Andrean QB injury not sure there is anyone in the north to challenge them.

Since he is only a junior that list will grow. Hopefully he is making the rounds to camps and combines in off-season

I thought Pioneer looked pretty good last night. In fact, watching it I thought they might be getting dismissed a bit prematurely. They are very young but there is talent. Still think Laville and NJ probably the favs, but would not surprise me one bit to see Pioneer on top ……again🤷‍♂️

From what I saw last season and from what I recall teams lost vs what they have returning I think Laville will have the most talent and should be the favorites to win their first conference championship

While that was incredible moment for Devine, pretty sure crushing #1 Texas 38-10 in Texas to win the National Championship was a finer moment😉

IHSAA also said in its April 11 media release: "Schools who failed to earn a point during the 2021-22 school year while playing in a higher class were returned to the next lower class for the next two years. This was to prevent schools from playing three consecutive years in a higher classification when their tournament results do not merit that placement."

Pioneer moved up for 2019/2020 2019 lost sectional 2020 won regional 2021 lost sectional IHSAA couldn’t reclassify after 2020 due to covid so my understanding is that year was thrown out so 2019 & 2021 did not earn any points to stay up.

We have no idea how good of a coach Freeman will be either. Not off to a great start. Having Elston call the D in the bowl game was pretty dumb move. Stroud and company will light ND up. Shame ND cant seem to recruit QBs

You get Freeman was/is the D-coordinator who just got roasted for 600+ yds and the second biggest meltdown in ND history ND faithful expected better and it wont get easier for him with his next game at Ohio State this fall.
