I could see CG scheduling a long-distance road game for last week of season now that they moved the Cathedral game up. That week falls during their fall break so traveling to a Friday night game would not be an issue.

A big problem with these types of games is finding games for JV and freshmen to play. Week 1 Center Grove is playing St. Fances (MD) and then schedule Warren Central for JV and Freshmen. But when they play Fri Sep 20 against Trotwood - Madison HS they have open dates for freshmen and JV. I think I remember last year one game CG Fresh played a small school JV to have a game.

It is interesting that Temp picked Center Grove over Ben Davis, even though he has BD #1 in his poll

And yet they are probably able to play Ben Davis and Center Grove within an inch of their lives this year. Their easy win over Moeller v. Center Grove’s OT win seems to justify that.
Center Grove has a few open dates next year. East Central should give them a call.

BD has a very aggressive senior heavy defense.

Is the BR for the Rockets?
Yes, Broad Ripple Rockets always, even though BR does not exist anymore.

Hey, where are all the WC fans hiding? Don't you believe in your team's chances to pull off a miracle against Center Grove? Come on, have some faith! If they can get to CG QB1 and make him sweat, they might just shock the world. Of course, it's still Center Grove's game to lose, but anything can happen in football, right? Right?

Max prep has BD with over 43 sacks this year, but Cathedral has an elusive QB. It will be interesting if Cathedral can handle the pressure BD brings.
I put BD sack total over/under at 4.5

Ok no running clock comment. Just an Image

Weak. A lot of people are “claiming” to have evidence now because it justifies them getting trucked by Michigan.
If I am James Franklin/Ryan Day and am fresh off of ass beatings and my job is in jeopardy, of course I am going to point the finger and say “but look, they are cheating.” If the evidence shows STALIONS, or another Michigan staffer doing the recording themselves, I’ll concede. Even then, it’s a level 3 violation however.
The speed limit is also a “rule” that is broken daily and I could give many more examples.
The irony in this whole thing is that if you connect the dots here, many of the same coaches who are “outraged” about Michigan’s practices also have a sign guy and their sign guy likely RELIED on Stalions to help them out weekly!!!
Spare me the victimization.
Let's see, Temp picking the cheating Cathedral over Ben Davis and he siding with cheating Michigan. Temp has definitely gone over to the dark side!

I would like to see Brownsburg win this week because I would like to see them face off against Center grove later, that is if CG makes it to Semi-State. I think Center grove matches up against Brownsburg better than Ben Davis. Ben Davis has 33 sacks that could be problematic to Center grove's passing game, and I think Center grove can handle Brownsburg's run game better than Ben Davis's passing game.

Matchup between two of the top contenders for the Mr Football award. The quarterback from Ben Davis High School and the running back from Brownsburg High School are both having stellar seasons, but they will face each other in the first round of the state championship. This means that one of them will be eliminated from the title race and possibly from the Mr Football race as well.

How is gate revenue handled in sectional games? Do they split it or does host school get it all?

Can someone explain why schools are doing tickets like this. It makes no sense to me.

Thanks AI, that is perfect.
It's true, AI is taking over the world. Just look at how it can generate amazing responses like this one. Pretty soon, it will be able to replace Temp's top 25 list. Who needs humans when you have machines that can make better list than them? I'm sure Temp will be very happy to retire and let AI take over making his lists. Ha ha ha, just kidding. Or am I?

What is “city” speed or “country” speed? Fast is fast, period
Here is an AI computer generated response to your Question, Not Mine:
City speed and country speed are terms that some people use to compare the athletic abilities of football players from different regions. The idea is that players from urban areas have more speed and agility, while players from rural areas have more strength and endurance. However, these terms are not based on any scientific evidence and may reflect stereotypes or biases. There are many factors that affect a player's performance, such as coaching, training, nutrition, genetics, and motivation. Therefore, it is not fair or accurate to judge a player's speed based on where they come from.

Back to "in conference play" for all "eight" schools....26-6 on the year.
Ben Davis @ Lawrence North: The Giants came back to earth last week and sweated one out against Warren after continually shooting themselves in the foot (17 penalties), facing a freshman quarterback and allowing Warren to score two special teams touchdowns. They can't afford to do it again, especially on the road against a good LN squad coming off its first loss of the season. I am still not sure who the second best team in the MIC is but LN is right there in the conversation. They hang around before losing late. BD wins 30-24.
Center Grove @ Lawrence North: Trojans return to the "road" for the first time since the opening week and play an in-state team for the first time. The Bears have been extremely underwhelming though I expect them to get up for this one. I'll say its close in the first half and then CG pulls away,,,31-17.
North Central @ Carmel: I had to do a double take this morning...17 losses in a row for NC? Really? Make it 18 as Carmel figured some things out last week. Carmel wins 34-0.
Pike @ Warren Central: Surely the folks on the east side would scoff at the notion that their Warriors earned a moral victory last week against BD but I am not one of them. Warriors showed fight despite losing their QB early to injury and a couple other defensive keys later. They'll get back in the win column this week with an easy breather against lowly Pike. Warriors win comfortably. 31-10.
What say you?
Typo: Center Grove @ Lawrence North should be Center Grove @ Lawrence Central

And they brought as many fans as some MIC schools

To clarify, there was definitely contact from behind. My problem is it had no effect on the play. Illegal block in the back is not considered a safety foul, so it is only called when it has a material effect on the outcome of the play.
same video at 5:23 there was a block in the back call. How do you judge it had an effect on the play.
