Except that the taxes we all pay fund all kinds of services - schools, fire/police protection, roads, etc. I don't see any way of carving out the education dollars. Like many, I made the decision to send my kids to Catholic schools (approx. 48 combined years) and never received any "vouchers". My choice. My only issue with vouchers is that the GOP has expanded it so much that families with very good incomes can qualify. I think it should be limited to people who truly need the help. A family of 4 making $150,000 can sure as h3!! afford to pay full tuition IMO.

That only works if there are 8 SIAC teams. Like the good old days before the AD's got lazy and added Jasper and Vincennes to make schedules automatic...

It wouldn't surprise me if Bosse decided to not compete in the SIAC in football at some point. I would imagine most, if not all, of other SIAC schools would welcome the change. This might give Bosse the chance to find some other opponents and rebuild the program.

I believe TCC is a school originally founded by the Brothers of Holy Cross, who founded ND. In Indiana, both Indpls. Cathedral and Evansville Reitz Memorial were also BHC schools at one time. We have recently "re-affiliated" despite not having any Brothers of HC on faculty. Not sure if Cathedral is still affiliated or not...

As written, I really don't see this being that big of an issue. I think it was the IHSAA getting ahead of a lawsuit like the one filed next door in Ahia (as Coach Cig likes to say) by a high profile recruit. Not being able to use school colors, logo or mascot is the key to limiting the opportunities IMO.

Notre Dame needs to beef up its schedule, so maybe the Irish?
