Curious as to what you consider a “deep tournament run” is? I believe Whoever wins sectional 41 can beat Park Tudor and face Adams Central in a semi-state game. I believe all of us are in agreement that it will be Adams Central and Lutheran in the final. It’s too bad for some of the next teams as next year both those teams will be competing against each other but in 2 A

Ya I wondered why they didn’t just kneel on it after they picked up the deciding first down. I’m sure the kids wanted to score but you need to realize that you could be facing them again in the sectional.

Hey Farmer Fran! I would love to get your opinions on the Pioneer/Triton game! I think Triton will have a difficult time beating Pioneer again if they were to meet up in sectional. Pioneer had some major players out for this game as did Triton but it’s always tough to beat a team twice in one season!

I think every game has the potential to be competitive!

Pioneer was without best RB an QB. I thought it was a gutsy performance by Pioneer! Shively was a stud tonight!

Ok so I watched the Pioneer/Hammond game last night! We’ll 3 quarters of it. That was enough to come up with my observations and opinions. Pioneer does what they do and very well. They run the wing t to perfection, don’t turn the ball over and let the other team make the mistakes. That’s exactly what Hammond did. They fumbled 3 times that I saw, twice inside 15 yard line. They had multiple offsides and false start penalties. They walked back to line of scrimmage after a play was over not even huddling up most of the time. The 9 fans that thought it was worth the drive to go see them play were probably disappointed in their effort. Anyways that my 2 cents. Pioneer is beatable for sure but you’d better know your assignments and be disciplined!

My thoughts are both Bremen and Triton are better than Fine Print is giving them credit!

Hammond 28-21 Knox 28-14 Laville 38-7 NJ 42-6 Triton 42-6

Fine Print obviously has little belief that Triton is any good because he’s basically judging Laville off their performance against Triton. He must have been unimpressed by both teams.
