  1. Mendoza wins it handily, Pavia second, Sayin third, and Love fourth
  2. Good thing the CFP treats “superstars” fairly and equally otherwise the Irish would have been in the CFP
  3. At least you admit the Irish get preferential treatment
  4. Supposedly, the self called center of the college football universe and they play the victim card at an alarming level. Irish fans go watch Vandy’s coach, Clark Lea’s interview today discussing how it was on them why they didn’t make the CFP, not everyone else’s fault. Seriously, Vandy has a much better resume than Notre Dame to argue why they should be in the CFP
  5. Fair, but only one of those teams is a blue blood who has asked for preferential treatment throughout their existence and refuses to join a conference
  6. Ugh. They have been playing Purdue long before Brohm was the coach there. The lopsidedness of the “rivalry” is a close second to the Navy fiasco of a rivalry. Yeah, yeah, I know the historical significance of supposedly why they keep the game, but college football is WAY different than what it was. You know, back when the SEC was winning and cheating with paying players under the table, cough cough allegedly, NIL has evened the playing field… Frankly, Kennesaw State may have been an upgrade from Virginia and joke of a conference. Just sayin…
  7. Come on now, Purdue? One 8-4 year doesn’t make the Boilers a good team. Purdue has been overall bad for a long time, just like IU until the last 2 years. That schedule is terrible. I don’t care what year you’re looking at. 3 road games where the Irish will be 21+ point favorites, 2 neutral site games where the Irish will be double digit favorites, and 7 home games, 6 of which the Irish will be 25+ point favorites and the other, Miami, where the Irish will be at least 10 point favorites…
  8. Watched this interview, totally a classy coach
  9. 2026 Notre Dame Schedule Wisconsin 4-8 Rice 5-7 Michigan State 4-8 @Purdue 2-10 @North Carolina 4-8 neutral field Navy 9-2 Miami 10-2 Boston College 2-10 SMU 8-4 @Syracuse 3-9 Stanford 3-9 USC 9-3 neutral field 7 home games, 3 away games, 2 neutral field games 57-82 combined record of these teams Atrocious schedule
  10. You know it’s true, you can do the research
  11. Nah, way too easy to pile on right now.
  12. In the 90’s, the Big 10 rejected Notre Dame joining the conference because they wanted special treatment when it came to football. It was about money, plain and simple. They wanted 100% of the money on anything football related, they could have cared less about the other sports.
  13. No more talk from me this year, 2025, about the team north of Indiana and South of Canada unless there are asinine comments made by Temp regarding such team. As far as the Irish go, not going to lie, I can’t make the same promise. From ridiculous comments from Irish supporters that show their arrogance and holier than thou, self righteous attitudes, along with their contradictory statements that change from post to post to suit a specific debate, it’s too much fun…
  14. They are already kind of doing that… lol… And the bottom feeders of the Power 4 conferences. Look at their schedule next year, might be even worse than this year…
  15. Nope, I will do my best to only talk about relevant teams the rest of 2025….
  16. This is the ESPN bias!!! ESPN owns the CFP and will make damn sure the SEC and its overrated teams get more than their fair share of the pie.
  17. I did not say Stanford. Have that argument with who said it. Look, Michigan is a good team, not a great team, and their record is indicative of who they are. My criticism of them the last 2 years is they aren’t a top 4 team in the Big 10 with all that talent. I see young teams being successful everywhere with 2 and 3 star players, yet Michigan with 4and 5 star players gets a pass
  18. Temp will tell you Michigan is the youngest team in the nation and it will be better next year… Same thing he said last year… Same thing he will say for the foreseeable future…
  19. Notre Dame created this narrative by refusing to be in a conference. They negotiated “special circumstances “ to get preferred placement starting in 2026. Play in a conference and let’s go
  20. I agree with you, but getting them to the 4th quarter is no easy task. They never trailed in the 2nd half until the IU game so 12 teams failed to even play them close. One possession games for Day as far as his record goes, eh, it is a crapshoot in close games.
  21. Every team in the top 20 of the CFP had a better resume.
  22. Notre Dame had one win vs. a top 25 team all year, went 0-2 vs. CFP teams, and played a cupcake schedule. Not hard to see. The Irish want in based on their name quality, not their play against a good schedule. Had they beat A&M or Miami, they would have easily made it. The Irish have had their own network for at least 20 years, NBC. The real issue is they aren’t part of a conference. Join a damn conference. Think they fit best in the Big 10, but pick one. Quit being a money grubbing hog and not wanting to share money and go win on the field.
  23. Hell yeah, the Sun Belt would be great for the Irish. Would be a great upgrade to the schedule the currently play
  24. What did they earn on the field? Best USC, that’s it. No other team they beat is in the top 25. Hell, most are bottom feeders. Look it up. As far as ESPN being in bed with the SEC, duh. It’s played out in front of us all year. Very concerning The name calling disappoints me, but hey, what do I know. Been watching all my life, the Irish didn’t earn it on the field, beat nobody
