  1. Let’s go down the “murderers row” that the Irish beat this year: Purdue 56-30, 2-10 record Arkansas 56-13, record 2-10 Boise State 28-6, record 8-4 NC State 36-7, record 7-5 USC 34-24, record 9-3 Boston College 25-10, record 2-10 Navy 49-10, record 9-2 Pittsburgh 37-15, record 8-4 Syracuse 70-7, record 3-9 Stanford 49-20, record 4-8 I mean, the above speaks for itself. One of the worst schedules I have seen in awhile. What is their best road win? Pittsburgh??? Dude, you are way too knowledgeable about football to be even trying to justify the Irish. Stunning…
  2. Why is it useless? Just because my opinion doesn’t agree with your opinion? Again, who did the Irish beat? Answer that question honestly and compare that to everyone else’s resume. If you are hanging your hat on USC and Navy as your best wins then you have already lost. If you had beaten A&M or Miami then the Irish are in the CFP easily and there would be no argument about it, but they didn’t.
  3. Random thoughts a couple of days before the title game: 1. IU has the 31st ranked recruiting class in the country as of today, which is 9th in the Big 10. While this is better than they have been, I still believe they need to get into the top 20 for long term stability 2. The line on the game this weekend started at Buckeyes favored by 5.5 points, then dropped 4.5 on Tuesday and just dropped to 4 points today. Heavy money going on the Hoosiers apparently. If I had no dog in the fight and I was a gambler, I would lay big money on the Buckeyes at that number. 3. If IU can get to 21 points, I like their chances. I can see IU winning 21-17 type of game. Both defenses are great
  4. I just don’t get all the love for the Irish? Who have they beat this year? Their best win is likely USC, who is the 6th place team in the Big 10. Second best win is Navy… Nuff said. They have beaten up cupcakes all year long. Based on results, not conjecture, Notre Dame is not in the top 12. The group 5 argument is a whole other thing. Tulane/North Texas/James Madison winner in reality are not top 12 teams.
  5. IU 24 - Ohio State 21
  6. I agree. Virginia is only a 2.5 point favorite over Duke so not far fetched at all. The bigger problem for the Irish is if BYU beats Texas Tech, both those teams will get in. BYU will not get in if they lose to Texas Tech so that would be a bid stealer if it happens. Other thing to watch is if Alabama loses to Georgia, do they get in with 3 losses ahead of the Irish? If so, big problem for Notre Dame…
  7. Thinking 70% will be Buckeye fans, but 90% of football fans would love to see the Buckeyes lose
  8. Dwenger should be above Carroll, beat them head to head Thinking somewhere around 7th
  9. Save the lecture, no need to defend your guy
  10. Been an official myself, put away the rabbit ears
  11. Imagine that, Bobref having rabbit ears yet again about officiating. Part of being an official is to NOT have rabbit ears. Criticism comes with the job.
  12. For your 6-0 claim to be swept by the South you do…
  13. Shows how much you know, Snider doesn’t root for Dwenger, but don’t let that ruin your narrative. As I have said many times, 6A has 5-6 teams that will likely rotate winning for the next 20 years. Everyone else is playing to be a once in 20 years hope to win. The other classes , the South and North are interchangeable.
  14. I have said this before, you pile on at every opportunity on everyone else about their team, about how great Indy football is, how the North is irrelevant in 6A, etc… It’s your turn to eat crap. Forget about your 10+ wins next year, not going to happen with that coach or that QB. Peeking at the schedule next year, I don’t see 10 wins for Michigan
  15. Replay showed it was about a yard short
  16. Temp must now retreat into the abyss of the Deep South….
  17. Michigan’s offense was abysmal at best, atrocious at worst. Buckeyes defense is legitimately great. Have to remember though, Temp has hung his hat on how young the Wolverines are all year. Not sure what he hung his hat on last year when they were mediocre at best. What will be the excuse next year? Certainly, they will get freight trained by the Buckeyes next year and the Buckeyes will go on another 8-9 year run of wins in a row vs. TTUN. Better get Sherrone out of town Temp soon…
  18. Could be that one or there are several other ones to pick from… 3 points combined the first game and then we have 65 points in the title game. Best game of the weekend hands down
  19. Dwenger wins 36-29 Your South bs failed… lol
  20. 3:42 to go as Dwenger just stopped them… 36-29
  21. Dwenger 22 - Roncalli 21 early 3rd quarter
  22. Roncalli 21 - Dwenger 16 at halftime, Dwenger just misses a 52 yard field goal to end the half, really good game so far
  23. Dwenger 16 - Roncalli 14, so much for that 3-0 game earlier in the year…
