  1. The Panthers will have 4 guys on defense that are good enough to keep them in every game they play. The huge question will be their offense, as it only returns 3 guys with any Varsity experience (2 OL and 1 WR), and if it can compete against 6A talent. I could see them using some of their defensive talent on offense more than years past.
  2. Here is my list of the top 10 Snider teams. Want to point out this is my opinion on BEST not MOST TALENTED. Not accounting these last two years. 1. 1992 2. 1986 3. 2004 4. 1997 5. 1981 6. 2015 7. 2012 8. 2002 9. 2016 10. 2014
  3. I am not too concerned with Snider's secondary. Mishawaka has had guys running wide open all year due to everyone committing to the run. Snider has faired well against passing offenses all year, but I don't think that is what Merrillville wants to do. I have a feeling we will see a similar style to how Valpo approached the Panthers last year.
  4. Looking for my Region posters, once again, for some more info on what to expect from this year's Merrillville team. Just by looking at the stats, the Pirates and Panthers seem to be quite literally the same style of team. Should be a great, physical game full of speed all over the field. Believe it will be a 7:30 EST kick-off. Looking forward to the matchup!
  5. You honestly believe that they would underestimate Mishawaka after how the first half played out last year?
  6. Is the fullback this year as good as #44 last year? That guy seemed like he had grown man strength. Think it would have ended differently last year if he doesn't get hurt.
  7. Surprised I haven't seen this topic yet. Should be another classic after last year's matchup. Was wondering if anyone from the Mishawaka area or conference could give the NEI guys some insight on this year's Cavemen team. Seems like they have more ability to throw the ball, although I know that is not what they want to do. How many returning starters from last year do the Cavemen have? My prediction: Panthers by 3
