  1. I still think it's going to be the Indiana, Ohio State, Georgia show. But there's ten pretty good teams, I think anything can happen on any given night.
  2. Everyone really seems high on Texas Tech, before I even gave them much thought. Will be interesting to see how that turns out.
  3. Gotta somehow give it back to you.
  4. I agree though. This is about as intense as this forum has ever been and we are one week from Christmas. I guess football does that to a man, lol. Sad, but true.
  5. @GOLDRUSH1985 is a good man. @temptation can drive a man to his insanity. Seriously? You pay attention to those things?
  6. There was never a point in the Georgia game where you felt that the Bulldogs were Notre Dame's equal. Michigan's in a bowl game? Who they playing?
  7. When I was at Ball State, there were more students watching their favorite teams on TV than there were in the stands.
  8. Thirteenth, lol, no thanks.
  9. Some people want to pretend that a game isn't four quarters long. Ohio State won the first half, Notre Dame won the second half all while banged up. As I said, had Notre Dame been healthy, the outcome may have been different.
  10. Meh. Teaching their men not to settle for second best. Those kids didn't come to Notre Dame to get slapped in the face with a meaningless bowl. I 100% stand by the decision a week and a half later.
  11. Right there with Indiana, Ohio State, and Georgia in my opinion. Good luck to your Hoosiers. Fantastic story.
  12. It would be hard for any reasonable person to dispute his Top 12. I agree with his assessment of Miami and Alabama. Miami, when on the top of their game, will be a handful for anyone. They just need to keep playing with a chip on their should like they were doing when they were ranked behind Notre Dame. They were fighting for their lives, and they played like it. Love the NIT idea.
  13. They're even saying that Notre Dame would have been a threat to win the whole thing. I'm over it. It's an ESPN thing. It's like politics. It's never a level playing field.
  14. Or he could have played the John Wooden card............get me the athletes, just don't tell me how you got them.
  15. A lot of smart guys site those losses being Chris Ash and CJ Carr's first games with the Irish. I get the two losses. But the committee has been touting "eye test" for weeks. Saying Notre Dame passes the eye test. They had a lot of pressure on them from ESPN. I understand that, so I really don't hold a grudge against them. This is clearly an ESPN thing. They own the CFPS and SEC media rights. That's what this comes down to. It is what it is. It's Christmas and football certainly isn't the be all end all.
  16. I've only just started.
  17. Gotta be the richest buffoon we know, right? Maybe his time has past. Personally, I think he could have a lot to offer to a program.
  18. Fair. At least give me Top 6 though. C'mon.
  19. They would have been this year's champions, but the SEC is afraid. A couple of injuries from winning last year. And probably the front runner in 2026. Notre Dame fans are happy with recent results on the field, that's all that matters.
  20. Well, I don't think he cheats. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a bimbo on the side. So yeah, why not?
  21. Why make someone else millions? If you want to be graced with our presence, it will be in the playoffs or nothing at all.
  22. Kelly is by far the best option out there for Michigan. They're just too bullheaded to take LSU's leftovers.
  23. Serious question. Are you the youngest or somewhere in the middle? You're certainly not the oldest. That's been weighing on my mind for the last five minutes.
  24. Yeah, but a lot of those fans are the ones keeping your alma mater from being a third world college. So having fans isn't necessarily a bad thing. Do you think Ball State alumni are fans of other football programs? If your answer is "no," then you're lying to yourself. I know for a fact that most of those students are at home on Saturdays cheering on their favorite teams. So really it's just "nonsense" to you, not the masses.
  25. Michigan is one of those teams that are excited to play in one of those bowl games. Waste of time for Notre Dame.
