  1. Thirty minutes from Laycoff's to Dwenger? Did they shut the entire road down? Maybe 12 minutes on Christmas Eve at 3pm. This Friday, ten minutes tops.
  2. It's really an a**hole move. I judge people by their character, not their writing ability.
  3. 1. Over 2. Under 3. Under 4. Under 5. Over 6. Over 7. Under 8. Under 9. Under 10. Over New Pal by 28 Knox by 3
  4. Sounds like a Laycoff's kind of night. Old school tavern that's been around for years. Just five minutes down the street from Dwenger.
  5. Rocks Sent Home Traumatized, Brownsburg Awaits Their Doom Pirates State Title Imminent, One Victim Remains
  6. Carroll has been a good passing team since Day 1 when Diana took over the program. That's just his thing. He will ALWAYS have a QB who can sling it around...........one way or another. It took him a few years to get the defense sorted. Now that they have a decent defense to go compliment his offense, they're competitive on a statewide level.
  7. Desperation move when one is losing a debate.
  8. Missed bits and pieces of the second half last night. Didn't realize Penn was 4 yards away from a 16 point lead.
  9. Good topic Temp. Missed it yesterday, let's do it again next week.
  10. Jaidon VanPelt. He's the kid that was absent during the Week 1 HSE game. He has no star rating, why is beyond me. I'd make an awful scout apparently. Several MAC offers and is being looked at by IU, but no offer from the Hoosiers yet. Remember when I referred to the kid who "torched" CG with three big touchdowns? The kid is legit. I've seen my fair share of high school football over the years. He's just as good, if not better, than some kids out of Fort Wayne who've gone Power 4.
  11. Personally, I never thought it was. Snider was way down, but that didn't mean the conference as a whole was. I knew Carroll was good after Week 1. North Side almost beat Concord last week. Northrop had their best season in 25 years. Dwenger we knew was good after weeks one and two.
  12. Gonna be a good one. I'd be at the Brass Elk beforehand if I didn't have other plans.
  13. Two very good teams for sure. But who in Heaven's name is calling Sectional 18 the toughest in toughest sectional in 4A? Sectional 19 would utterly dismantle 18 in short order. Anyway..........back to the game. Looks like a crapshoot maybe with Hobart as a slight favorite?
  14. Do young people even know about this forum? I know Carroll is kind of a Johnny come lately, but you'd think with their fan base there would be at least one follower on this board. If this was my site I would be at a different game each week with flyers promoting it. Could be something bigger. Good to see a nice following from Penn on here.
  15. Amusing to say the least. I got a kick out of seeing him try to school the "new guy" early in the season.
  16. Good grief, don't make that public. No one knows about that. All they know is that Michigan is #1 on the all-time wins list. Just leave it at that. Certainly you have him on ignore like I do. I have the pleasure of not seeing any of his posts. It's great.
  17. Awesome, thanks for sharing.
  18. I would argue that Notre Dame normally overperforms for a bunch of smart kids. A true Michigan fan would boast about "most wins" regardless if the current team is good or bad. No point in erasing history Temp. Michigan's success goes back decades. Something to be proud of. It's what builds a brand. Without a past, there is no brand. Would Notre Dame have the fan base and revenue they have right now without those 11 national titles? No, no, no they wouldn't. If past championships and achievements don't matter, why make tee shirts? Why boast on here with pictures and memes?
  19. Team A: Makes the playoffs five seasons in a row. All 10+ win seasons. They make the national title game twice but come up short. Are they relevant?
  20. And that was last year, when they were pretty good?
  21. You're not being honest with yourself. You'd be taken off the air and given $20 for a cab ride back to the airport.
  22. I thought Elkhart was loaded with transfer athletes. What's the problem there?
  23. Dinan was always an offense kind of guy. Led Snider for a decade during one of their most dominating runs. He can coach and has Carroll at the top of the northeast mountain right now.
  24. Makes you pretty sick to your stomach if you're Mississinewa.
  25. Let's just say they are both big favorites. Both teams will have to be at their very best though. Anything less than that, I think Heritage Hills and Hobart are very capable.
