  1. Dwenger has a pretty good shot then.
  2. Not sure about a defensive slugfest. More apt to go see how North Side does against Concord.
  3. Tempting, perfect night for a game. Dwenger/East Noble or North Side/Concord. Or stay home and follow everything.
  4. East Noble at Bishop Dwenger https://summitcitysports.com/archived-video/
  5. I don't think Snider played any guys on both sides of the ball that game and New Pal matched their energy in the fourth quarter. Impressive. You'd think they'd get blown out at the end of the game, not the beginning.
  6. Yes: 2: Carroll 92% 5: Brownsburg 95% 7: Warren Central 100%
  7. 6A: Out 5A: Floyd Central #41 4A: Logansport #97 3A: Indian Creek #94 2A: Indy Lutheran #108 1A: North Decatur #137
  8. Kudos for swinging the bat. I waved the white flag. Arsenal Tech was my doom.
  9. I don't think so. Two northern 6A powers take the cake, both being undefeated helps. To each their own.
  10. Good luck to Penn Nation tonight. Good to see you guys back. Game of the week statewide in my opinion. Lots of good games, but I believe this is the only one that features two 10-0 teams. Should be a great atmosphere.
  11. Just messing with @Yuccaguy. I'm always impressed with the officiating as we go deeper into the tournament.
  12. Heard that crew wasn't very good.
  13. You can question anyone's coaching practices. That's what fans do. How much time was left? I went to bed?
  14. Who in their right mind cares about a loss to NIU when you make it to the national championship in the same season. Not sure why NIU is even brought up at the point. The national championship game rendered the NIU game 100% irrelevant.
  15. Help me out here: “When we looked at tape and looked at metrics, we felt like Ohio State was a little bit better up front on the offensive line and we felt like they were a little bit better defensively." Metrics trumps on field performance? I really don't care who's one or two, just trying to make sense of the thinking behind it. IU beat Illinois 63-10, OSU beat them 34-16, "but we think Ohio State is better." Is that how this works?
  16. Hey, if you can't build a program from the ground up, recruit players coached up at other schools.
  17. I don't mind losing to the worst team on the schedule as long as you beat everyone else and get to the playoffs. Realistically, had Notre Dame not been so banged up, Freeman may have had his championship last season. In the case of this year, those who REALLY follow college football, know that Notre Dame babied their QB against Miami. Had they turned him loose, like they should have, we wouldn't be having this 2-loss conversation. Then you have the bad snap against the best team in the SEC. You see these things, and that's why you have ND as a playoff team. I think most intelligent people, including those on the committee, see those things too.
  18. Agree with both statements. But there's only so much you can do with his enrollment. New Pal will always be the gem of 4A as long as Ralph is there. But I believe his model to play with the big boys has always been to take the best players and play them on both sides of the ball. Again, he's not putting 22 players on the field to compete with 22 players from one of the bigger 6A programs. He's winning, so kudos to him for doing it as he prefers.
  19. I think that score was deceiving. If memory serves me correctly, Carroll was up 27-7 at halftime. They just kind of let Northrop hang around in the second half. Massive difference between these two programs. Carroll is a program built from the ground up, and Northrop is really just a team with a bunch of transfers from other schools (which should be investigated by the way.) I've never condoned hijacking players from other coaches. Fair game at the middle school level, but not high school. Carroll big.
  20. Appreciate your opinion and honesty, but I think you're wrong about that. Freeman is a national champion caliber coach. This year is a good example. Choice of defensive coordinator wasn't a real good one, which is on him. But he stepped up to the plate and helped right that ship. Now the defense is playing at a caliber of that when Freeman was a coordinator himself. Notre Dame will be champions within the next three years. I believe that to be fact.
  21. Moore seems like a likable guy, I wish him well. I honestly don't care about any of this stuff, it's in the past. I do think the NCAA is a shit show though. Texas can give their 18 year old's passes to get into any 21 and over strip club they want. Most team's players sound so incoherent during interviews, one has to wonder how they even got into college. Notre Dame has four smart kids have tutors do some work for them because a school's workload and a football workload is a pain in the a**. And the NCAA pulls 21 victories out from under them. Sorry, just talking out loud here.
  22. C'mon, certainly you're joking. You really don't want to debate this, right?
  23. Thought I'd try to find that channel on youtube. Came across a Penn Powderpuff football game. The QB, who's apparently the QB for the Penn flag football team, looks like she should suit up for the boys. She's got some mad skills.
  24. Lol, you can't compare the two Temp. Body of work.
