But what if Adams Central had 1833 students? Decatur Central would be in a MASSIVE amount of trouble. Pound for pound. I think if Adams Central had 1209 kids, they'd do just fine against New Pal. Look, I'll give you New Pal, they've earned it. Adams Central may or may not be right there as their equal, there's no way of knowing. I'm just simply saying that if New Pal is #1, then Adams Central is a close 2nd. THEN, there's everyone else. And mind you, were talking about programs here, not one time wonders. Sorry, I know you like Decatur Central, but I'm not ready to talk about them in the same sentence as NP and AC.............not even a little bit. Not even a micro iota of a little bit.

I see Luers in the same category as Chatard and Cathedral. Really hard to measure the private schools in terms of "pound for pound." I'd say New Pal, then Adams Central in a close second. Then "everyone else." The top two are close. New Pal's enrollment sits at 1209 versus Adams Central at 408. Would Adams Central give New Pal the game of their life if they had 1209 students? It's close guys. Really really close.

Adams Central might have something to say about that.

This game is over. Hostile environment. A bunch of four and five star athletes playing with passion. It was bound to catch up with IU sooner or later. I think Ohio State will be the same kind of thorn for IU. Coaching isn't a problem, IU wins that battle easily. But overcoming all those five star kids the Buckeyes have will be one hell of a hurdle.

Student sections at Carroll and Snider are massive. Carroll packs the house for home games, not so much for away games. About the same for Snider. While Snider doesn't have quite the home crowd Carroll does, they probably travel a bit better. Dwenger doesn't pack the house anywhere near they way they used to. Internet to blame I'm sure. Warsaw brought a good crowd to Fort Wayne earlier in the year. North Side fans show out for the big games. Merrillville still seems to travel well, brought a big fan base with them in 2023. They travel way better than Valpo. Overall, I'm seeing more smaller crowds than big ones. You're right though, crowds aren't what they used to be.

To prepare themselves for when they have to play on turf at Lucas Oil. I think the whole idea is to determine the neutral site six days prior. Not sure why that would be a problem. I like the idea of neutral sites. Had Crown Point won last night, Carroll would have had 2.5 hour bus ride. That shouldn't happen in my opinion. What do other states do? The whole playoff system in Indiana just seems to be determined by the flip of a coin.

Yeah. I'd probably go if I wasn't driving 5 hours east the next morning.

Mishawaka seemed like a mixed bag this year. Very good, but vulnerable. The Plymouth game was concerning for them in my opinion.

Westfield over Carmel was an eye opener last night, as was Penn's IMPRESSIVE win over Crown Point. I emphasize "impressive", because they could have won by more. After that long touchdown run on the first play, Penn looked like the better team. Westfield avenged a 24 point earlier in the season to the Greyhounds, but..........Carmel almost losing to Lawrence Central three weeks prior makes me wonder if they were a little off late in the season. Purely speculation. Nothing else really stood out to me last night in 6A. Just good teams taking care of business. Northrop once again was a thorn in Carroll's side pulling to within 28-23 after being down 28-10. Then the Chargers pulled away. Almost a mirror image of their regular season game.

No short of confidence entering their game with Carroll. Should be a good one.

Premature, but we might end up seeing a Carroll/Westfield game after all. I honestly didn't see it as a possibility until now.

Not sure I follow. No skin in the game. More focused on Luers winning on a 99 yard fumble return and North Side losing on a circus play at the end of the the first half.
