  1. 1. Brownsburg - 35% 2. Westfield - 25% 3. Center Grove - 15% 4. Fishers - 8% 5. Carroll - 7% 6. Penn - 6% 7. Decatur Central - 3% 8. Warren Central - 1%
  2. I think ND is deep enough at QB and RB to still make a push in the playoffs if there were an injury at those positions.
  3. I'm impressed with what Michigan has done this year. Were they even ranked in the preseason poll?
  4. You don't have to justify anything. Notre Dame is good. Anyone looking at it objectively can't deny that. If they win out, they're in, period. Doesn't matter what the whiners from the ACC and SEC think. Notre Dame is probably one of the best five teams in the country.
  5. Of course we are. The team is loaded four and five star athletes at home in front of 109,000 fans. Playing with a renewed energy for their interim coach. That was a hell of a football team Indiana played on Saturday.
  6. I think it's too premature to say that Crown Point was overrated this year. Same with Merrillville. If Penn beats Carroll, then no, Crown Point wasn't overrated. If Carroll beats Penn by double digits, then loses to Westfield by double digits, then I'll have to concede and say they were overrated. I think all bets are off the table. I didn't think North Side was that good, then they almost beat Concord. My ratings are about the same as Sagarin's. Sort of accurate, but much more so on Thanksgiving weekend.
  7. Maybe a little. I think they are better now than what they were when Merrillville waxed them the first time around. I think the Pirates win this game. I just chose Michigan City because I'm desperate for points.
  8. Does it matter what IU's entire schedule looks like when they beat Oregon, Iowa, and Penn State on the road? No, it doesn't. Everyone from the ACC and SEC is saying that Notre Dame is where they are because of their name only. Notre Dame is where they are because they are right there with A&M and the rest of the SEC is behind. The ACC just sucks in general. They can cry all they want. Notre Dame is good enough to win the title.
  9. 5A: Michigan City 45 3A: Twin Lakes 101 2A: Indy Lutheran 116
  10. Some pretty good games on tap. I'm less impressed with Concord though. Either they're not as good as advertised or North Side is just better than what some give them credit for. East Central had impressive win over Whiteland, but if they can't beat Roncalli or Lawrence North, they're probably not beating New Pal. I think it's game over for them.
  11. I honestly don't know enough about Penn to make a prediction. They looked pretty solid against Crown Point. I could see this one going either way. I'll roll with the Chargers though. I think their body of work over the course of the season is just a tad more impressive than Penn's. And I really really want to see Carroll host Westfield or Fishers.
  12. Easy answer. You're from South Bend. No, no. I have them ranked 5th next year. Carroll is third.
  13. Lmao. We've all been there.
  14. Let's just say that Northrop has a LONG way to go. I just hope they don't continue taking everyone else's football players in the process. Recruit at the middle school level and leave it at that.
  15. And for the record, I was rooting for either Merrillville or Decatur Central to win state last year. Both deserving programs.
  16. Apples to oranges. Brownsburg won a 6A state title. Decatur Central beat Warsaw. I think DC has a very good program, but I see where @Komets2727 is coming from. I have a lot of respect for Enright and his 76% winning percentage, but the schedule year in and year out isn't exactly one of the strongest in the state. Kind of like Penn and Snider having the best records going back 40 years, right? Strength of schedule? Right now my biggest qualm with DC is that when they go down in the tournament, they go down big. I personally have them right there with Merrillville. And that's not a slight by any means.
  17. Fair, just busting your balls.
  18. Northrop was loaded with athletes too. Didn't exactly make them a great team. Not sure what "was" and "was" has to do with now. Decatur Central is a very good program and are having a great season. They're the smallest school in 6A. I agree that Friday nights outcome will not change their perception. They're as good as anyone in their weight class. Kudos to them.
  19. Lol, you're old. Your hearing and eyesight are probably too far off to determine which team hits the hardest.
  20. Wolverines are up to #18 in the latest AP Poll...........hmmm.
  21. Exceeded whose expectations? Right now, I think they are right where "common sense" fans thought they would be. A 7-10 point loss to Brownsburg would be "exceeded." A 14-21 point loss to Brownsburg would be "common sense." A 22+ point loss to Brownsburg would be "in over their head."
  22. Beating Oregon, Penn State, and Iowa on the road trumps anything Notre Dame has done. You're right though about everyone giving Notre Dame their best shot. None of this really matters though, Notre Dame is a playoff team, plain and simple. TV commentary this morning said what I've been saying the last four weeks. This team can win the title.
  23. I can see all the SEC fans crying right now. The Irish are the highest ranked two loss team and deservingly so.
  24. It's good to see the Brickies back............Blue Blood.
  25. Yeah, I think it was Facebook that was pumping them up as 6A title winners.
