I'll name a few positives for you. 7 on 7 games in the off-season give teams an opportunity the chance for their skill players to have live go reps against other competition. It also gives teams a great opportunity to work on their passing offense. Injuries are down, which will lead a number increase over time.

Nick Holt's son Ben made it official that he has transferred from Western Kentucky to Purdue. He is a grad transfer and will be a 5th year senior linebacker. Now all that Purdue needs is a few grad transfer offensive linemen and they will be all set.

IU has one of the best non-conference resumes in the country, but they've absolutely fizzled in the B1G.

A quick Google search didn't yield any results. With eight AAF teams and eight NFL divisions, it makes sense to designate a team as an affiliate for each division.

Add to this that each AAF team has NFL affiliate teams, much like NBA G/D-League does. It's great for the sport and keeps veterans active for longer. I'm predicting that we will see more feel good comeback stories in the NFL due to the AAF's impact. Kurt Warner should've just kept working as a bag boy, right?

That's exactly why I love this new league. 250K over three years isn't going to make anyone rich. HOWEVER, it will put bread on the table and the season is only 10 weeks plus the playoffs, which allows the option for a second job, education, or ample family time. What I also love about this league is that they are specifically a minor league of sorts. They're not trying to go head to head with the NFL.

I've been impressed by Trevion Williams this year. I remember last year that he grabbed 36 rebounds in a game, but he played for a school that was the size of an Indiana 2A. I normally check out the forum twice a week or so in the deep off-season, which I consider around now until July when the season is right around the corner. I'm normally active in the out of bounds section year round.

The measly numbers are to be expected. The site traffic goes down significantly in the off-season. I bet that a large amount of posters aren't even aware that the site even crashed and rebooted.

I also noticed that Akeem Hunt and Trent Richardson are on rosters.

I'm a 29 year old millennial, but I typically don't care much about convenience. I care about getting the best deal possible. I'll pass on paying $20 for a website that has little to no traffic.

My main question is, if the GID is converted to a paysite, will the $20 be simply for posters or for everyone? I'm not an administrator, but I've gathered over my years on this site that a large amount of this site's traffic comes from "guests" or non members, AKA players coaches, fans, parents etc who are checking out what the chatter is. I'm not against charging a "poster" fee in principal. I believe though that the website will be low on content. If the website turns into pay only to view and post, the GID will fold and/or slip into irrevelency within a year. Remember that TA didn't do this for profit. He wanted to share his love of football with everyone. If we make this website "for profit" it will become an abomination of the creator's original vision.
