Its basically a more physical version of flag football
Not the game I grew up to know, love and play.
It robs athletes of the natural football instinct for contact, which is what attracted many of us to the game.
I'm awaiting the opinions on this one. I can see your point, but not close enough to the game to have an opinion.

Respect Avon - they play with an attitude and a huge chip on their shoulder
Despise Brownsburg - dont care for their egotistical HC
I sat behind the Brownsburg head coach during one of the games at Lucas Oil. The guy was the epitome of class to all around.

Homestead looks to be 10-5 against carroll over the last 10 years and has won 3 in a row.
Respeck on Honestead’s name.

So, who is Howe's basketball coach?

I worked with his sister-in-law for years. She's always had tremendous words about him.

It won't let me correct that atrocious sentence.

My daughter has to sign a form all 4 years at DeKalb agreeing to possible testing, But I don't know of a single case where it was ever used. In fact, I know of a number of specific cases where the powers that be just turned their heads and did nothing within their power when incidents were reported by teammates, parents, non-coaching staff, etc...

Ok, yes they do have inadequate lighting. I think it's 12 to 16 fixtures a side. Most schools have 12 fixtures on each pole.
I can't remember the specifics I was told when I worked there years ago but my understanding is they can turn them on but they have a curfew when they have to be off or get fined. And that time is so ridiculous it pretty much makes them unusable. I'll see if I can dig up something concrete on it, like on new article.
Held hostage by a neighborhood covenant?

Snider already has lights.
Isn't it some lame parking excuse? I went to a game at Chatard. Snider can't say a word if they play at Chatard.

Aren't you afraid they'll all come back soaking wet?
I wonder if the Dads had keys to the timer. 🙂

What's his guaranteed contract? Heck, what about those guys on the Bengals? Fort Wayne has a slew in many places now. A couple of Fort Wayne families have a near monopoly on paint/air pistol/guns. Tippman Field. Tiberius Park. I'd chip in a share for Luers and Zollner.

He will never make up the $20M he lost due to the injury so he is probably pinching his pennies very carefully.
I'd bet the highest paid pro athlete out of Luers right now is Purple Nurple's progeny. It'd be nice to have a fundraiser, I'll give a portion. 🙂

He and his brother were certainly fun to watch. Luers has been blessed with some good ones.

Love how everyone thinks NFL players have extra money. Jaylon is still in his rookie contract. It has a cap on it. They don't make that much. When he becomes a free agent then he will have more in his bank account.
There are plenty of NFL/MLB/MLS riches from the SAC, but that money is fleeting. Why don’t HWI, Steel Dynamics, Vera Bradley, Lincoln Financial or other insurance company in town, paintball gun wizards, or Sweetwater step up? Lots of big companies in Fort Wayne.

Based on Coach Jackson's List above here is my stab at 5A sectionals. North is pretty tricky on who to put with the Lafayette Schools and Kokomo. It really comes down to Munster or FW North. I went with FW North Here.
Sectional 9 Sectional 10 Sectional 11 Sectional 12 Munster Mishawaka Goshen FW North Michigan City Elkhart Central FW Northrop Kokomo LaPorte Elkhart Memorial FW Dwenger Harrison WL SB Adams Concord FW Snider McCutcheon Sectional 13 Sectional 14 Sectional 15 Sectional 16 Anderson Decatur Central Seymour Terre Haute North New Pal Plainfield Floyd Central Terre Haute South Whiteland Bloomington North New Albany Evansville North Franklin Bloomington South Jeffersonville Castle Will they go off of the geography of Snider High School or Spuller Stadium? FW North Side and Snider may swap in this scenario. The North is a bit of a mess.

Luers back in 2A?? Looks awfully close...
Someone played it all out a few months back and Luers was the lower end of 3A. We shall see.

How far back would you like it to go? Do any games resemble their glorious pasts?
