Hurt had mentioned in CP article preview they are small. That’s an understatement. Still puzzled by a school with just over 50 on roster with 2000 students.
Hopefully the kid doesn’t lose his junior season. Either way I like what I saw from the guys that had attempts in watermelon scrimmage. I still think with or without Porter the Ellspermann kid has potential to be a dangerous runner. He could be a nice dual-threat. Nice size kid and athletic. Good 3 sport athlete. Kid is a winner. The younger brother could be special in 3 sports. He is as talented as they come in multiple sports.
I think sometimes people should come look at the deck of cards Memorial is playing with. Not many times have the Tigers lined up and been the biggest, strongest or fastest team. The groups that went to state were a couple of special classes back to back to back. Before that not many feared the Tigers. Only 1 time in Hurleys career have the Tigers won the SIAC outright. Most years middle of the pack. If the SIAC is very comparable to the PAC in football why would anyone care if Tigers are 3A?
Nobody wants sympathy I can promise that.
Yep. He’s been working out at that position since the day he showed up at MD. He’s been working out over there for a few weeks now. Baseball and basketball is where Central will feel the impact of this transfer.
I’d say a little bit of everything. IMO that’s been their mojo for recent successes. Pretty good at all styles of football. Makes for a difficult team to scout.
I think anytime Castle, MD, Memorial, Reitz, North and Jasper play it’s a coin toss. Would not surprise me if any of these 6 win the SIAC. VL should be the best of the other 4 just based on returning players.
Don’t drink but you shouldn’t attack me personally. That’s not nice! Just giving you hard time. You should know I give insightful info. I’m the one that told you Memorial will be just fine without Lindauer and Combs and that 4A would be no problem.
I feel like I know the area football and sports in general. I’m at lots of different schools games year around and get a good eye-test of the athletes. Not sure how many games you’ve attended over the years but eye-test is important. JMO.
I think Purdue and IU both had interest and never pulled the trigger. I’m guessing once he visited Miami O he loved the fit. I think it seems like a good fit. IU hasn’t been in on many local kids the last several years outside of Brady Allen. For good reason.
The recruiting formula at IU has paid off the last few years. ( Now that’s sarcasm )
Not charging subject. PAC football is not close to SIAC top to bottom. Bottom of siac better than bottom of pac and the top of siac better than top of pac.
it’s that simple. GS has yet to beat a good Memorial team head to head. They barely escaped two really bad teams and blew out a god awful team. Memorial came into your backyard and beat 3 good teams 3 years in a row.
The good news is the Titans are now in the worst sectional in the state and will win several sectionals after only 1 in the last several years.
