The trophy says IHSAA (Year) Football Champions (Class)
Which is accurate. They are the state champion of that class. Are there some years the 6A State Champion might not be the overall State Champion/superior team? It's plausible. I think if you win your class, you earn the right to be called a State Champion.
Exactly. As a BD Giant does it offend you that smaller schools call themselves State Champions in years you've won the 6A championship? I know it doesn't because no one does. It would be stupid an petty and stupid. Who cares? Such a dumb topic.

The single class Indiana High School Basketball tournament was a superior product to the multi-class tournament we have today.

What problem are you trying to solve here?
Is Lutheran walking around claiming they’d take down Ben Davis?
There isn't one. Just like Washington DC.
Another question that fits, Is Ben Davis claiming the other 5 champions are not really champions?

That’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard all day and I’ll say it right to your face
I agree with Donnie Baker.
Why would you care? You know who doesn't care? The big school champions.
Why would this truly matter? Run this by the 400 + principals and see what they think.

Mr. Hicks does state this falsehood. It is an ignorant and insulting statement.
"Colleges keep close tabs on course offerings, and schools that offer no AP STEM classes are saying loudly, “Don’t admit my students, they aren’t ready for college.” "

welp.. .more adjusting. That is all from 4 years ago when I was on here trying to get posters to tell me what fields had which playing surface. I always questioned that one.
Not being critical. Just trying to be helpful.

You know, sometimes I like to do things for entertainment purposes. The other day, I emailed an athletic director at a private school in the state. Basically that my son was getting interest from some small D-1 and NAIA programs and we were interested in transferring him for his senior year to better prepare him for college. Mentioned he is a solid student. Top 10 in his class. Things like that. I feel like the AD probably should have just told me that transfers for athletic reasons aren't allowed in Indiana. However, I was referred to their Enrollment Director to set up a meeting. I didn't take it any further than that.
You FEEL. YOU feel. That is exactly what the AD should do! Not talk to you about a single thing until you have cleared the admissions. Not sure of your point. If the AD would have said something if you were sent to the coach or asked for film. Since they didn't you have feelings.
I FEEL you should get a different hobby.

From the article "Hill (Faith AD) explained that the IHSAA rules prohibit any teams from competing in the playoffs unless a program can complete its full conference schedule."
Not an IHSAA rule. The IHSAA By-laws might be a good place to start when building a program.

It's obvious they fare better at the 1A-3A level because they can control their enrollment. The quality of student/athlete is just different.
The solution is to move them all up a class. No P/P should ever be competing at a 1A level and it's been proven through SF that they can compete at higher levels.
The problem is, the powers that be don't care because the big schools don't care. They have the enrollment numbers and funds to overcome.
This is the most ignorant argument that can possibly be made. Spend a year at any private or parochial school and you'll realize how absolutley foolish this often used statement is made.

Is watching live the only option or could I watch them on tape delay for the same price?
Also $20 per day or for all 6 games? If the past is any any indication, once you pay the $20 you have them for good. I watched the games numerous times throughout the year.

Learned this rule at a Colts game their first season in Indy. I've been coaching 30 years waiting for the opportunity to use it. Still hasn't happened.

My goodness I agree with @Muda69 on something. Good thing Lent starts tomorrow so I can atone for it.
Somewhat rhetorical question. Can the development of the former Diamond Chain property go forward without a publicly-financed stadium included?
Same for me. What is this world coming to?

Yes, I'm sure private investment has zero interest in this future wasteland.
(that was sarcasm by the way)
This soccer stadium project has been talked about for a few years. It has always been presented as "privately funded" no public dollars. Then, as always, when any project is near finalization the thruth comes out. But at least we're still being taxed on the Hoosier (yes Hoosier) Dome.
