Look at the Baseball sectional, FC, NA, or Jeff someone always has two pitchers that will be drafted. NA has a Tennessee State commit this year. If there’s a tougher sectional in the state I’d like to see it. But HHC teams never move on out of that sectional and do much else. If I’m looking at this honestly and I have not see FC play, but Seymour played the entire conference within a couple of points. I have seen Seymour and BNL play and the fact is they’re mediocre at best football teams. @Frozen Tundra I know you’ve been around and you know what I’m talking about. FC finally won some games down the stretch but as I stated earlier in this thread, the SW corner of the state tends to play a little different ball. Best of luck to all the HHC teams, may you play your best ball now, when it counts.
I really don't disagree with anything you said. If Floyd Central wants to prove people wrong, they have their opportunity.

North is having their best season in a very long time going 6-3 on the season and placing in a 5-way tie for 2nd place in the SIAC. North also had the biggest trenches in the SIAC having an OL average of around 6'3 300 pounds before the season. They also have one of the better running attacks in the SIAC. Floyd Central is also having a very good season going 8-1 on the year and winning the Hoosier Hills Conference outright. FC also has a pretty explosive offense and a defense that has been improving since Week 4. This will be the first matchup between these 2 schools in over 17 years. North is looking for their first win over FC since 1992.
This is not accurate. North beat us last year in Evansville. And we beat them up here in 2010.

I hate not having faith in Floyd Central given the year they’ve had but once bitten, twice shy.
I'm not suprised that people who have picked against them all year long would continue to do so.
-
North having an 88% chance of victory at Floyd Central seems excessive. FC is 8-1 and their only loss was to Louisville Powerhouse, St Xavier.

A regional title means they’re gonna have to go through East Central (who likely gets bumped up to 5A after this year) and the Bloomington schools or East Central and Whiteland/Franklin.
Give them a few years and I think they'll be able to compete with those teams.
-
I don't see FC winning a regional this year. But I like them to win their first one ever in the next 4 years. If these 7th to 9th grade teams are as good as the people around here are saying.

Congrats to Jennings County. Braun is a very good player.

I like BNL and JC to both win.
BNL is a good team. Jennings County is an improved team.

What Freshman team you talking about?
Floyd Central. Their freshman team is ridiculous.

Yeah I like how people have picked FC a favorite in their sectional based on record. I can tell you one thing. We wouldn't be 6-0 in the SIAC.

Just the fact you don’t think any of us know about Heritage Hills, their long and storied history, or their former legendary HC Bob Clayton, nor do you seem to know about the NFL players that said program has produced, is what I’m really questioning.
I do have to agree with you. Bob Clayton was another Bob Gaddis. Jay Cutler, Ken Dilger. For being a 3A school in the middle of nowhere, their football tradition is amazing.

FC just picked up one of the best strength coaches around. Used to make monsters at East and since he left they’ve really fallen behind. He was just at a small 3A school called Heritage Hills, was there working with those kids and after a couple years got their football dudes turned around and got them to state. Their record boards were off the charts for a 3A team. I met him at parent teacher conferences.. he knows what’s up. I have a great feeling about what’s happening behind the scenes now with FC Athletics. Hope the buy in comes back and we continue to grow. Football dudes already looking better in the short time he’s been working with them.
I didn't know that. But their football talent and just athletic talent coming up is ridiculous. A lot of guys that I played sports with there and buddies of mine and some of my family all have kids coming up so it's a fun time for me. I know their freshman football team hasn't lost a game since like Pee Wee football or something. They absolutely rocked Louisville St Xs Freshman team that had over 100 kids.

I really do appreciate the guys who officiate these games. Without them, I can't sit in the stands and watch football and complain about it on a message board. Lol.

Just cause BNL got conservative and cause the refs were so unfair and making calls at the worst times tho!
I mean, east was digging so deep in their playbook. It was crazyThe BNL fans should’ve been rude in the way out to the Olympian’s fans cause the refs were so bad, I can’t believe they weren’t
they were in the right
I understand that you're mocking me. That's fine.
Consider this. FC has barely been called for anything the last 2 games.
We just had a bad crew against BNL. Pretty simple.

Congrats on the title town man.
you’d have been in hell watching the refs in the East vs BNL game tonight.
My goodness gracious5 to 74 on yards. And that’s with an 80 yard touchdown called back counting as 0 to the total
Sounds like East was in that game though.

Yeah. I'm not trying to rub it in. I just thought it was pretty crazy.

Putting in briefly…
Castle has a good offense capable of putting up a lot of points. Their most dangerous threat is a WR/RB hybrid #17…good size and speed. Capable of turning any play into a TD. Their defense is prone to giving up points.
North probably has the biggest and strongest OL/DL in the south. But they don’t play as well when they get worn out. They want to run the ball on offense and they have a solid run defense. This is their best team since ‘07 I would say. They look the part but they don’t always play it.
If you’re comparing North and Castle, their week 1 game was 21-14 North won, but Castle had opportunities to win it. If you want to compare recent common opponent, North lost to Jasper 35-21 but Castle beat Jasper 39-33. At this point, I think both teams got better and they have the same record, so it’s hard to say who is better. Both teams will provide a tough challenge but are beatable.
I appreciate the analysis.

Floyd Central fan here. Tell me about Evansville North and Castle this season? They look good based on results.
-
I like that FC vs Evansville North at home. But it would set up a road game at Castle. Which is never easy.
