FC 44 BNL 30 I will give BNL credit. They’re a tough team. FC did a lot of things right. Sillings from BNL is a fun player to watch and I enjoyed his game. I’m not sure I would have had we lost though. Lol.

I’ll be honest. I definitely judged BNL after that result. I don’t think you guys are as bad as the team that lost up there though.

I realize that they have had better years and that 2016 team was really solid and was a smashmouth team. But I really like the Offensive System they have now, and I feel as they develop their program, they will be hard to defend.

I’ve been more impressed with JC this year than any I can remember. Their QB is legit. Their system is legit. I think they’ll be good eventually.

Well the Regional between Sectional 15 and Sectional 16, won’t be all that good. These are the 8 teams that can win it. Floyd Central. Jeffersonville. New Albany. BNL. Bloomington North. Bloomington South. Castle. Evansville North. Not 1 of those teams can hang with New Pal or Cathedral. Bloomington North is probably the best of that group on paper and they won’t have a chance.

You guys will threaten us for the All-Sports title. Although, our Basketball, Wrestling, Swimming, Track and Field, and Baseball teams are all really good this year.

I think he’ll play D-1. He just needs to keep working like he works.

He’s a Junior. A lot of our key guys are Juniors.

Your defense is tough. I didn’t like the holding penalties on what would’ve been a few more Wenkers TDs, but that’s football. Good luck in the Sectional.

Well, all I can say, is I guess we’ll find out in 2 weeks. We ran the ball on Jeff and they couldn’t run on us. So idk.

The heavy rain not only evened things up. It killed our crowd as well as it being Harvest Homecoming in New Albany. We had a packed house at all the other games. So we really didn’t have the true homefield advantage in that game. Whether that makes a difference the next time around, who knows?

Extremely favorable draw for Floyd Central. They won’t leave home.

I disagree. BNL couldn’t stop Tristan Polk untill he sprained his ankle. They couldn’t cover Calvin Brown, and they couldn’t cover Kaleb Quenichet. And that’s in the rain. They really couldn’t move the ball on Floyd when their defense really locked in. The weather played a factor for both teams of course. But Floyd is a lot more explosive on offense than they were due to high wind and a lot of rain.

I’m not dogging on BNL or anything man. They are very clearly better than a 2-6 team. I’ll give them that. Nikirk, Hutchens, and Yates are 3 good SRs. The LT Bunch did as good of a job on Trace Richards as anyone has done all season. These games in Monsoons are always stupid. I just know that FC is right where I wanted them to be. 2 losses to East and the #18 team in the Country. Now they go to Seymour where they have lost 7 of the last 8 times and usually had the better team on paper. It’s tough to win on the road.
