  1. I hope so I need more folks to join my sadness in kicker issues
  2. Yea, ...... Um...... HF vs Portage teams...... Id say Buzz had a bit more to work with this time around then his 0-5 Portage days. Just a hunch I do/did. Better than having an open week. I Believe Lowell got Griffith back on their schedule to replace Clark. Love when he wears stripes in the Winter
  3. WL is definitely still here for a reason. Plenty left in the cupboard as they say...... not that anyone who has been paying attention thought they would all of a sudden be average...... RCHS: I like our depth, with some injuries to key personnel we have not missed a beat with players being thrown into the fire or out of position we worked all summer with, so that has been good. Was happy with our pad levels this past week, as been a big focus for us, as we are not big at all. I have liked our composure in face of adversity going back to week 1 with injuries and guys unavailble, to even last week when we get the ball at half, up 14-7, go 3 n out, punt, give up touchdown, then we go 3 and out again, you could sense the tide turning, but we uncorked a HUGE 57 yard punt to push Western back to the 22, we force a 3 n out and their punt landed at mid field. Scored 8 plays later and tacked on another one in the 4th for some breathing room against a very talented ans strong /big Western team. Dislike: I will just keep those in house !!!
  4. Honorable Mentions from this guy: Hammond Morton knocking off Lowell without QB Prather by 10 Shout out to Hammond Clark, who was on @DT radar for contraction has quietly started 2-1, their lone loss to Whiting, but only by 6 points then they blew out Lake Station and Gary Roosevelt. I know they are not powerhouses, however, those were games in the past that Clark would lose or win by 1 score. The Fighting Testa's whould be 4-1 heading into week 6 showdown with East Chicago.
  5. I sat in with Tom Rathman, Colts RB coach and also OC for the Colts in a free coaching clinic offered to Indiana HS football coaches. (what a great event, first time I have seen Shrimp as an appetizer for a clinic) and to a man, they were talking about Mack and if you do fantasy you better scoop him up!!! Dude just hasn't been healthy, but he is now and it showed. Also, spending 2 hours in the RB room with Rathman will get you going.......
  6. I remember when people used to care about our conference ................. The Glory Days
  7. NN vs KV will be an interesting game in my opinion. NN has found its QB in #2, gives them a greater passing threat to some real nice athletes. #11 Taylor is very fast and #81 has some nice size as well. Speed scale defineatly favors the Spartans who could be playing their 1st game on Turf in their careers?? NN has 2 LB who are very active, especially #44 (4 year starter) Wagner. He is also the feature back for NN offense. KV counters NN speed with a RUGGED RB, Swafford who is a bull in china shop type runner. They run POWER very well and like to grind out yards. QB Carden very capable passer and has a big TE Williams to throw to. If I had to pick, I would give KV a slight edge, because of the OL/DL depth vs NN OL/DL Depth. but I think it could be a pretty close affair. Turnovers and Special teams always a factor. Would not be shocked if NN won, or if KV won. Fun matchup. Have a great week in prep my Jasper and Newton county friends.
  8. Its the oldest trick of the GID book 1) Game week, user from an opposing school decides on Game week to create an account 2) Thinks to themselves, you know what will really rally they troops: If I make a user name, pretending to be the opposing school's coach/fan/player 3) proceed with action plan and makes 1st post to flame up the internet message board, then the other team players/coaches/fans/ whoever says, LOOK, YOU SEE WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ONLINE..... Motivational tactic 4) Get snuffed out quickly by site mods and squashed Rinse Repeat

  15. classic JV matchup today. 48-40 Bombers win over Western. Offensively shootout. 😀🤣
  16. Big Win for Bombers in Russiaville tonight. Slobberknocker of a game. Classic Hoosier Conference battle. Bombers scored 7 points each quarter. up 14-7 at half, then tied at 14, we had a huge punt to flip the field, Western punted it back to the 50 and we scored in 8 plays from there and then had another great drive in the 4th to get 28-14. With about 3:45 left in game inside our 30 went for it 4th and 2 and converted and was able to ice it from there. Big play there. Game is on demand at IHSAATV.org
  17. Funny coming from IP address belonging to a school in Tell City......... Yea, IP addresses are just so delightful aren't they?? HE GONE.
  18. Thanks to @dcjjones multi year Booster Best Wishes tonight Hoosier Conference. Just rolled through beautiful Rossville, IN, home of the Hornets.
