  1. Wasn’t Lincoln incredibly young in the secondary last year? Seems like with another year under their belt, and that ball hawking defense, they could be one of the top defenses in the conference.
  2. North always seems to under perform. I don’t see a top 3 finish for them. I’ll go with 1. Reitz 2. Castle 3. Lincoln
  3. ToD. 1 play for the game. 45 yards away. Intercepted. 28-27 final.
  4. Reitz 83 yard TD. Reitz missed xp when LB pushed a player over the long snapper. No flag. 28-27 B. 2:24 left
  5. More or less. 28-14 Pioneers. 4:59 left in the game. Only a miracle can save us.
  6. Officiating is terrible. Their tackles hold every play. And nothing gets called.
  7. Boonville 60 yard pass TD on 3&4. missed xp. 20-14 Boonville
  8. Boonville drives the length. Tied at 14. B-town getting away with a lot of holding.
  9. Opening drive for a TD for Reitz. Thomas from Davies for 45 yd. 14-7 Reitz
  10. Tied at 7 at halftime. Reitz has been sloppy, and B-town is holding their own.
  11. Just like that, TD B-Town. QB made a move and was gone from 55 out. 7-7.
  12. Touchdown Panthers. 7-0 on an 82 yard drive. TD by Brantley (front man in the power formation). 10:04 left till half
  13. Boonville turnover on downs inside R 20. Reitz has some life in them now. Driving. At the B 26 yard line.
  14. Welcome to Boontown, where the field is the same color of gold as the numbers on their uniforms.
  15. I will be updating from Boontown as long as my phone holds out. It’s in bad shape right now as it decided it didn’t want to charge last night.
  16. Picks. Castle North MD Reitz by more than people think Jasper. Would like to say Memorial, but the info says cats. Will be a good game.
  17. They run the 3-3-5 that Cathedral runs where the two free safeties are hybrid linebackers, but are fast enough to be really good in coverage. They do not really blitz much. Most of the sacks are the defensive linemen beating their blocker at the point of attack and making a play on the QB.
  18. There is precedent set by the IHSAA on this. In 2013, Silver Creek was scheduled to host Reitz in the second round. Because of a lack of seating, and the crowd expected to follow Reitz, the game was moved to the Reitz bowl, with Silver Creek wearing their home colors and being the home team on the scoreboard. Had Jasper of lost in the other half of the bracket, Reitz would have hosted the sectional finals (even though they were the home team in the first round.)
  19. For some clarification (wasn’t very good at it last night), Reitz led 49-0 with 9:09 left in the second quarter. At this point, most of the starters were pulled. By the 6 minute mark of the second quarter, ALL STARTERS for Reitz were out of the game. Make no doubt about it. Reitz could have put up 100 in this game, but Coach Brunson “showed mercy” and the rest is history. I wouldn’t have wished that beat down on anyone. I can honestly say that up until that point when the starters came out, Central was in the negative by quite a bit in yardage.
  20. But, if football was played in 2020, and no one was there to see it, was it really played then? I jest.
