  1. Just a quick question. Has an SIAC ever had as bad a year as this year’s Central team? Winless, shutout in 7 out of 10 games, 26 points scored in 10 games, and giving up 393 points this season. I can’t remember one, and both Harrison and Bosse had some pretty bad teams in the early part of this decade.
  2. Burnett scores again. 49-0 Reitz. 9:15 to half My knees are hurting for standing for the school song
  3. Pick 6 for Reitz. 42-0 Reitz. 11:03 left in the half. is it running clock after 60 in the first half???
  4. Central is negative in yardage, and has fumbles about half of their snaps. blocked punt recovered for a TD. 35-0. 11:56 left in the half
  5. MD Reitz GS (although VL wouldn’t surprise me) Memorial Boonville (Pains me to say it.)
  6. Boonville is not Mid-State. They are PAC, same as Gibson Southern.
  7. Heard from more than one MD fan that the defense kept them in that game, and it is true. MD had trouble moving the ball most of the game, and Reitz was moving all over the place until ill advised “penalties” would hurt them. (The discrepancies in penalties from Reitz to MD was amazing). But, Reitz won, and we move on to Central as this game moves to the rear view mirror.
  8. TOD on an incomplete to the end zone. Victory formation. Final from the Bowl. 14-7 Reitz.
  9. After the pass is knocked away, 4 & 25 MD. 1:04 left. Heart attack special here.
  10. Interception MD in the end zone. 14-7 still. 2:53 left in the game
  11. Everything is good here. Fire under control and smoke is cleared. MD scores. 14-7
  12. Rushing TD by Oxley. 14-0 Reitz. 5:44 left in first half
  13. Change of pace. Davies is back healthy, but you can tell he is rusty.
  14. End of the first quarter. 0-0 from the bowl in a defensive struggle. MD had the best chance to score but missed a 39 yd FG. Reitz has the ball and is driving.
