The thought process of some on this thread is troubling to me. GS football program has returned to the winning tradition it had under Coach Jewel. For the past 10 years Coach Hart and his staff have put a winner on the field week in and week out and it feels good. I would bet that over the last 40 plus years GS has lost good talent to the private educators in our area. We accepted that because of our faith, its no problem. I am not of the Catholic faith but I am a man of faith and its very important to me. I don't know where I'd be without my faith in Jesus Christ. So, if a family moves into our community we welcome them with open arms no matter if their kids are superstars or just model student/citizens. Its a way of life in Southern Indiana and South Gibson. Sometimes including myself we need to pluck the log out of our eye my friends. Have a blessed day.

I agree with everything that has be said by both of you. SW is and was the better team no excuses and nothing to be ashamed of. Got to move on to next week and take care of business.

I am looking forward to Friday night. Win or lose we have to come out of this game healthy. We have Southridge and Heritage Hills back to back and each team will bring their A game. Don't take me wrong I want the win but remaining healthy going into the second half of the season is very important in my opinion.

HH- its hard to go into the jungle and win TC- flip of coin GS- Starters will rest the second half MV- Princeton has zero chance SS- SS is the better of the two. NP - NP is looking pretty good right now. if this game was at SR I would pick SR

Good luck tonight. Hope the rain comes and is gone by early afternoon. Sitting in the rain and cool weather is hard on this old man but I'm looking forward to the game as it should be a good one. Go GS!!

Well I'd like to see us keep him under 200 yards rushing. Not sure that's possible he's a special talent.

Curious if GS should rest starters against Boonville or play it like any other game? We certainly need to be 100% healthy against HH as I believe we will be facing a totally different HH team in the first round of the sectional then what we seen in our first meeting. 6-3 looks better than 5-4 on paper but is the second Boonville game important to win?

Hopefully GS continues to improve weekly both offensively and defensively. Princeton would like nothing more than to knock us off. They can't be overlooked and we need to just focus on one game at a time baby.

I would think GS will have a running clock the second half of this game but its a county rival so who knows. I don't really see them scoring 14 points either as JH predicts. From what I understand their RB twisted his ankle against TC and never returned.
