  1. Same score at half. WW seemingly had chances to make it worse. Fumble on our own 15 gave Salem 2nd TD then driving down and got a slew of penalties... was literally 1st and about 40. Salem gets ball to start half. Need to get more guys on line. Salem been running well. Also hurting themselves alot

Paoli's JV finished their season 7-1. Only loss came week 1 against Boonville. Wish I could remember the scores. I know they beat Corydon, Springs Valley, Perry Central, West Washington, BNL's freshman team, North Daviess, and Mitchell.

    WW was 14-0

SV WAS 30-20 I think. Something close. That's all I know. Haha

Sure, but when two of the three best teams in 6A south are playing game 1, it makes the overall tournament less interesting.

But, you are correct, the best teams will typically be standing in the end.

Regardless of class I've never heard a team celebrating sectional runner up. While I get it sucks for fans who may wanna go I don't get why it matters if they play rd 1, 2 or 3. Win sectional. That's all that counts.

  5. Watching the last JV game of the year for me (Springs Valley vs Southridge C team) and I gotta say I'm impressed with what Lowe has done with this program in such short order. I've obviously watched a ton of SV over the years and maybe just being closer to the program (my kids go to SV) has made me see more but they definitely seem on right track for at least next 4 to 5 years. They have a slew of good backs and athletes in general coming up. They play fast and physical every play and never shy away from contact on either side of the ball. That wasn't always the case so good on the staff for really turning this program around. He took over a 1-8 team and went 9-2 first year and probably win sectional if not for the Conner Grimes injury. I'll be surprised if they don't win a sectional soon.
