Not a clue. They do play North Daviees last week of season. Maybe since Valley/Salem is newly scheduled game the week wasn't available for Valley? They also play Southridge JV in 2 weeks instead of Tecumseh but that may just be a location convenience

Couple notes on Salem. Numbers are down. Listed 40 on roster after having 51 last year. But really they played ok against Valley. Better then score would indicate. Was 14-11 at half and Salem missed a FG as time expired. Started a Freshman at RB #4 who looked pretty good. Defense was pretty gassed in 2nd half. Still alot of undisciplined type stuff. 3 or 4 lost fumbles. But overall team wasn't as terrible as 0-5 record appears. Ill be curious how many JR high has playing. 

Valley win 46-11

Paoli wins 39-0. 2 straight of offense scoring 0 points. Looking like a long stretch for the Senators. North Daviees next week

SV leads Salem 14-11 at half

Paoli up 24-0 nearing half. 

Shout out to Paoli for supporting WW JR Landon Holloway. Pure Class. Cool thing for them to do.

One of the WW school board members taught next to me and he told me their cost analysis showed it was basically a wash financially. The upkeep of the grass field over the expected life of the turf was the same as installing the turf.

And to add to that I believe that's probably why they built the indoor practice facility instead. Still allows more groups on it and allows practice during bad weather. I think that was a great investment.

WW JV losing to Valley 30-8 when I left. 2 straight games against Valley getting absolutely bullied. Better find a physical side or they may not beat Valley for a long time.

I've watched every level of CC football for last couple years. Numbers is a big part. Last year their 6th/5th grade youth team had to play part of a game 10 on 10 after an injury. I just don't think there is enough support or a lower level foundation. Now I think they've had some kids that if they played at a different school would probably get more fan fair. Keith Brooks, Tanner Arnold, and probably the Bell kids who play now and all decent athletes. But the line play is usually very under developed. The teams aren't good in youth league. I know Paoli just beat em 26-7 and that game was 26-0 end of 1 and Paoli emptied the bench. JR high is struggling as well (WW just beat em 44-0). I can only speak to what I see on field but I think it'll be hard to get kids devoted to the game of football there. Still surprised to this day PLAC didn't let them walk couple years ago when they wanted to go independent 

Valley wins 46-7. Just an absolute beating. Our lines got whipped. They are gonna struggle rest of the season

WW trails 22-7 at the half. No Answer for Larron Childress. He's killing them. And with Rominger coming up next week it'll get worse

End of 1st. WW leads Valley 7-0. Valley has controlled this game throughout but 2 RZ fumbles (1 returned for a TD) has kept WW in it. They better figure out stopping the run or they are in deep trouble.

QB Holden Russell had 3 TD passes.
