    Since the Success Factor (2012)

1A there has been 6 P/P State Champions and 5 Public State Champions

1A there has been 8 P/P teams in the State Finals and 14 Public teams in the State Finals

2A there has been 5 P/P State Champions 6 Public State Champions

2A there has been 10 P/P teams in the State Finals and 12 Public teams in the State Finals

As for the there should not be a P/P competing in the 1 A tournament. I would put Adams Central against Oldenburg Academy any day and over the last 10 years would bet Oldenburg would be fortunate to score points. The problem is there is a skewed view looking at the successful P/P but there are P/P that don't share that same success.

Does Oldenburg even play football? Not on Harrells and only played like 6 games in 2021. All the struggling P/Ps seemed to have dropped or went 8 man (Rock Creek).

In the MSC, if you finish "first" you get x amount of kids on the all conference team, 2nd place gets one less than 1st, 3rd place one less than 2nd.

Not coach voted, position is irrelevant. Your best football players get rewarded.

What do you mean position is irrelevant? Could 4 kids make it at QB?

Lutheran won against North, but im pretty sure they were surprised at half time with the score only being tied at 7. A few bad calls by the refs but it was a good game. Worst call was the pass complete that skipped off the ground by Lutheran. Lutheran played a good game though. If North would have been able to get the passing game going, the score may have been closer.

    How much does ND return?

I was talking about the 1A teams that get thrust up with those 3A teams.  The 1A that you propose, the bottom 32, would be likely be traded back and forth between Lutheran, Triton, and possibly Traders Point.  It's that upper range of 1A where things could be a bit dicier.  There are definitely some contenders that could survive ... have survived ... a 2A/3A mix like Pioneer, LCC, and possibly NJSP who has visited 2A before in the past and possibly Adams Central too.

I'd even say other way. Lutheran already killing 1A....they still make bottom 32. What a blood bath

The Lutheran defense hasn't given up a point in the playoffs.  Providence scored on a kick return.

I know. I watched it. They are good. Have been for a long time.

Moving up won't change the ICC schedule.  The nice thing about being in the best small school conference in the state is that it is never boring.

Maybe the most impressive stat for Lutheran's senior class is that they never lost an ICC game!

Not questioning winning isn't fun but more question if thier kids would like to test themselves in 2A after these last couple years

Im curious as why no one is talking about the Lutheran and North Decatur game? I believe North has a chance for an upset. Weather will be a factor for the game as its only going to be in the 20's at the start of the game. Lutheran has the #1 offense but North has the #1 defense. Im thinking it will be a closer game then expected with the possible upset.

Because Lutheran is just different it appears. They play a different level of competition. They are something like 50-3 since 2019. Those loses are double OT and 2 eventual state Champs. They have allowed 15 points to 1A teams in 5 games. Sure ND could pull an upset but isn't anyone going to believe it. Only thing I wonder about Lutheran is if they will be bored next year still being in 1A

Just out of understanding how is this determined? Do schools nominate? Is this just a flat coaches vote? I assume you only get 1 position but how is it determined which position they get?
