I will be curious to see where IU is ranked after this one. If they drop, it might be to something like 12. What will be more interesting, because of what the defense gave up, is if OSU holds on to number 3.

    Spot on man!

How do you expect your popular vote to matter when the Electoral College selects the President?

The only states that matter are 3 biggest college electoral states and swing states.

Why would they take kids from South Bend for football.  Wouldn't be a help to their program.  Who is going to get them to LaVille?

Didnt the Wieczorek kid (i know he didn't play football) come from Clay or Riley? Pretty good basketball and baseball guy.

I am sure there are a few kids with good coaching may be better then what they are at Adams/Riley/Clay+ they aren't playing as good of teams either.

How about just being a 1A in a metro area? Sure, schools don’t actively recruit, but now CC has the Indy area to get potential players from, while the Adams county schools have to pluck kids from a cornfield.

I sometimes look at 1a or 2a schools near cities or bigger schools.. Possible advantages.

    LaVille

15 miles from South Bend Adams, 21 miles from SB Clay and 15 miles from South Bend Riley. 10 miles from Plymouth High School, 11 miles from John Glenn.

Look at Eastbrook is near Marion.. As is Oak Hill (oak hill 3a right now)

Lewis Cass is 15 miles from Peru, 11 miles from Northwestern, 18 miles from Kokomo high school and 10 miles from Logansport high school.

Those are 3 schools I wouldn't mind coaching at if I were a coach.. Could be easy to get some transfers or kids go to a big school k-8 and enroll at a small one for HS.

CC and Heritage aren’t in the conference for football, but are for most other sports.  No immediate plans for CC to join, as far as I know (football program is only 5 years old).  Not quite ready to play Roncalli and Chatard on a yearly basis, in my opinion.

Probably would have been bonkers of CC to join the conference year 1 of varsity football. Those beatings by Roncalli, Chatard, Guerin and Brebeuf could have stunted the growth of the program or killed it early... Waiting till the program is sustainable and has been built up is smart.

A game full of what ifs.....cannot have the drops, turnovers and penalties they did and expect to beat Ohio State. That said, I am not really disappointed. They competed in the 2nd half on both sides of the ball.

Indiana is in a good place.

Tom Allen will lead IU to a big 10 title one day.

    Offensive line - stones

    Defense - stones

    Receivers - stones

Penix jr - Heisman candidate next year

You can’t help but love this team!

Next year? The way he's playing now he deserves a shot at it.

Might be a rout, but I don’t know if Ryan Day is a go for two “because we couldn’t go for three” kind of guy...

Indiana has clawed back. Some silly penalties and couple turnovers. That pick six was a killer. Could have made it a one possession game if they scored on that series.

Again this election, I find myself in agreement with you.  I have concluded that the 2 party system, as presently constructed, actually works to select out worthwhile candidates, leaving the electorate to repeatedly choose between the lesser of two evils. I don’t know the answer. But whatever it is, I’m confident that if it’s found, the entrenched resistance against its implementation will be more than formidable.

    Lesser of two evils

    Obama vs Romney?

    Obama vs McCain?

    Bush vs Kerry?

    Bush vs Gore?

I don't think any of those people were evil bob.

I disagree a lot with Romney and disagreed a lot with McCain but I didn't think they were evil. Bush was arguably the dumbest and least effective President of my life until Trump came along. I never doubted the love that any of those Republican candidates or Republican president had for America. I would have disagreed with Gore, I did disagree with Obama but I never doubted their love for America.

Trump doesn't love America. I think Hillary did but she was pretty tone deaf to normal Americans as was Trump.

Joe Biden isn't the perfect guy but i don't think he's an evil person either.

The United States just needs to get rid of the College electoral and go to a popular vote, we need to eliminate straight ticket voting and have open primaries. They need to do a Jungle Primary and the top 2 candidates battle for the Presidency...also should find a way to allow Libertarian and Independents to be on the big stage. Id vote for an Independent..depending on their views of Roe V Wade, Gay Marriage and Climate Change.

They required 1500 people in Clark County to cure their signature. I did my best to sign my ballot in the same manner that I signed my driver’s license.

    Dante.

I'm actually starting to feel bad for all these Trumpers.

They are living in another reality where they think Biden/Harris and Democrats cheated... If dems really cheated youd think that they would have added to the house majority and won the Senate. They are setting themselves up for a harsh reality when Biden is sworn in. Its so sad.

Idk whats worse.. How much the Nazi's loved Hitler or how much MAGA loves Trump.

How can the 4 largest states, per population, get their's "counted" yet these battle ground states can't?  I know.  Because like Biden said, "We put together I think the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics."

And why in the world are 28 states (at least) sending their votes to other countries to be counted?

If you are TRULY paying attention, you will see with your own 2 eyes and hear with your own 2 ears, all the EVIDENCE being provided by President Trump's lawyers.

    Again

There is an election law that allows states up to a month to count and certify the results.

Come on dude. This isn't "out of the ordinary" it takes states time to count votes.

    BIDEN/HARRIS 2020!

Trump lost! Get over it Snowflake! The Best is yet to come!

These next 4 years are gonna be fun.

I am on board with liberal use of the power of the pardon to protect people from reprisals when there’s a shift in the political winds. And you had better believe there are going to be a bunch of new US Attorneys chomping at the bit. The rest of it is bordering on silly. Amounts to a kid smashing the checker when he realizes he isn’t going to win the game.

Trump is gonna face a lot of state crimes in New York once his term is up.

I'm going to go on a limb and say that's the most deluded thing I've ever read.

About as silly as him saying California and New York were going to Trump.

    I feel bad.

Their cult leader lost. In 60 days he'll no longer be President. They can't get over that fact because they were led to believe that "god" sent him for them and god is never wrong in their eyes.

God didn't send Trump for them or us. An out of date election tool made him President.

Edward Norton had a great point on Twitter. I agree with him.

Trump isn't doing this for his base, hes not doing this to land his own network.. Or the fact he loves chaos.  Trump is doing this because hes in serious, serious legal jeopardy.

This is a tactical delay of the transition to buy time for coverup & evidence suppression. He wants to create enough chaos and anxiety about peaceful transfer of power and fear of damage to the system that can't be repaired..  He'll then try to cut a deal in exchange for finally conceding. He doesn't have any cards and he knows it. Hes been shutdown repeatedly in courts. Trump's assault on our country isn't about 2024 or trying to increase his wealth (cause hes broke). He simply knows hes on borrowed time.

    lol wut?

    Here's the deal with DE.

He can't get a head coaching gig because hes just as bonkers in real life as he is on here.

He can't get on a coaching staff because hes a know it all and alienates other coaches on the staff.

    Thats why he refs.

I have met quite a few coaches from the region through various websites and they've told me even more stuff but I'll be nice and not post it.

I have tons of screenshots on my phone, he keeps being a jerk. Ill definitely email every single board member from Lake Central and would be willing to do that to EVERY head coaching vacancy in the region.

To quote one of the GREATEST American President's ever, Teddy Roosevelt, "To anger a Conservative, lie to them.  To anger a liberal, tell them the truth."

    You liberals sure seem angry.

Oh and don't forget that Michigan state lawmakers have brought articles of impeachment against Governor Whitmer of Michigan yesterday, 11/19.  😉

    Theodore Roosevelt didn't say that.

    3 michigan Republicans did https://wwmt.com/news/state/michigan-republicans-file-articles-to-impeach-gov-whitmer

But the House Speaker of Michigan isn't going along with it.

I do know.  Still, sixteen days in this age of technology seems a bit extreme to me.

    It should be quicker.

I think all states should have counted early voting as it was coming in. Most states did but Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania who have Republican legislators did not want to pass new election day laws which caused the slow down.

Since you need it explained, you are part of the problem.

LOL.  In Nevada...counted yesterday, Thursday, 11/19, 16-SIXTEEN days AFTER the election.  Yeah, nothing to see here.

    Good luck.

Counting and making results official takes time in each state.. It takes so long in fact there is a federal law that gives States more than a month to count and certify their results. There is a reason why the college electoral doesn't meet until mid december to officially vote.

Im not shocked you dont know this but Fox News, Oann and Newsmax doesn't tell you this...so that explains it.

    im kinda shocked @Muda69doesn't though.
