This did about 90% of the damage.

    Yes.

Dems still have house.. and senate still in play.

Chances to pick up Senate seats in 2022 (PA, WI, NC) and to add to majority in house. I'd like to believe that most of the freshman that won in 2018 but lost In 2020 will be able to flip those seats wo Trump on ballot.

I was none of those people

My friends and people I have on Facebook were none of those people.

I don't remember any Democrats refusing to certify votes in counties. I also don't remember Pelosi, Schumer, Obama or Biden refusing to acknowledge Trump won... The way McCarthy, McConnell, Trump and Pence have done with Biden and Harris.

Sure.  Facts were not the strong suit of the Ms. Clinton supporters back in 2016 when she lost to Mr. Trump, then whined about it for years.    Now it's the same thing for the supporters of Mr. Trump who lost to Mr. Biden.

    Uni-party.

As a Clinton supporter in 2016.. This is news to me.

I believe there were a few reasons why Clinton lost.

A lot of undecided voters (independents, mod dems and mod R's broke for Trump)

    The Comey letter

Clinton's lack of campaigning in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan

Trump used dirt that he got from Russia and both used disinformation in those 3 states.

    Why Trump lost.

A lot of Moderate R's and D's realized Trump's rhetoric wasn't a lie.. And the way MAGA cohorts became a cult.. Just burned a lot of people. They didn't like Trump in 2016 but hate him now.

Wisconsin and Michigan re elected Democrat Senators in 2018 and elected Democratic Governors and PA re elected a Dem Governor...and strong ground games on getting people registered to vote.

Arizona flipped due to Mrs Cindy McCain's endorsement along with Arizona Democratic party doing a great job at organizing and campaigning for Biden and getting people to register to vote... Minus the McCain vote.  Same goes for Georgia.

Have a great and blessed day.

    Last time I checked..

Biden won the college electoral 306-232.

The popular vote by over 5,800,300 votes

But I understand you are a trump supporter.. Facts aren't t since your strong suit

Biden/Harris 2020! The best is yet to come!

I'm not a bears fan but that'd be smart.

All but one of his first round picks made it to the show, they made smart trades (Dexter Fowler, Chapman, Kyle Hendricks, Anthony Rizzo, Shark trade).

I agree...was surprised to actually see it happen. He does not seem to stay in one spot long....similar pattern played out in Boston.

I believe Theo said early on during his cubs tenure that "10 years" is the limit.

So what's up for the Hoosier Conference in the coming seasons?  For a while, the Hoosier Conference was able to boast that it had a representative at LOS in one or more contests for several years strung together.  That has fallen off recently.

Since 2000, the Hoosier Conference has had a representative on Thanksgiving Weekend in 1A, 2A, or 3A, and sometimes more than one, in 12 of those years.  Going back just the last ten years, it's 7 years worth of HC representation.  This year it looks like an outside chance, Harrell's gives LCC just a 15% chance of coming out of semi-state alive and the recent line shows LCC as an unprecedented 40+ point underdog in the semi-state game which now appears that it's going to be a roadtrip.

LCC moves up to 2A this next year which will, for the second time in 20 years will give the HC no chance for representation in 1A ... the last time came when LCC was SF'd into 2A back in 2013/2014.  Chatard moves up to 4A next season which makes the Sectional of Death slightly less deadly for West Lafayette.  What lies in store for RCHS, Tipton, and Western as well as a building HH?  TL still holding down the middle, with Cass attempting to rebuild, and BC and Northwestern showing some signs of life.

I don't even know if Cass wins more games next year then they did this past season. I like their freshman and sophomores. Their juniors are just really rough.

Yes..... this yr is the last harrah for Lcc in 1A for at least the next 2yrs... next yr they join Andrean, RC, Luers Easbrook,Tipton ect in 2A... Pioneer an Lcc replacing Webo who joined SR in 3A ... and EM, BC in 4A and so it goes......

    Eastbrook

    Luers

    Andrean

    Rensselaer

    Pioneer

    Central Catholic

    Tipton

Maybe South Adams, Adams Central and Busco (depending on enrollment)

    2a could be scary good.

Wouldn't SA also been at home if not for the Wimamac upset of NJ... as Lcc would have then been sched at hm for Reg..... only the ishaa can say for sure.... but I think it all jus progresses as it normally would... whic I what I thout the Ihsaa said at the beginning.... who knows?

I don't call the Winamac win an upset.

The first match up was 7-0 until about a min and a half to go until half.

The 2nd time around.. Winamac was running a completely different offense, had virtually a new offensive line and didn't have the miscues they had first time around.

  10. 10 hours ago, BendNotBreak said:

Whoops gotta take that bac.... barring a rule change... an unlikely as it may be.... Pioneer and Lcc could take turns winning a Reg the next 2 yrs.... causing both to stay 2A...

They could. I don't see it though.

Central Catholic is gonna be silly good the next two years. I think Pioneer will have enough around next year to do damage but im not sure what they'll be after that. Their talent levels at sophomore, freshman, 8th and 7th aren't the usual Pioneer level.

Without getting too deep into the woods on sagarin numbers , point differentials, and overall w-l records, some interesting mo ves were made by the big school conferences around the state this year

    Trending Up :

    Mid State

Whiteland's very solid year, the continued emergence of Mooresville and the consistent play of Decatur Central are contributing to the Mid States growing reputation as the the states most balanced and , pound for pound , most competitive football conference.

Whenever there is talk of conference realignment in central Indiana, it generally centers around the Mid State and the fact that several schools would love to get in.  The conference is blessed with a deep stable of long time coaches, excellent facilities, short travel distances and an increasingly competitive and entertaining style of football.  After the top tier, Plainfield, martinsville, Franklin and Greenwood are not far behind.  6A school Pery Meridian needs to step up its game and contribute to the legues growing reputation.  Kudos to the Mid State on a great 2020 season.

    SIAC

No conference has more big games every week than the SIAC.  The additions of Vincennnes and Jasper give the SIAC a deep slate of competitive programs, with only Bosse and Harrison holding the league back.  The PPs mix perfectly in the weekly fray with the publics, and some of the PP/Public battles are now the very best in the state.  Coaching and communty support are strong.  The talent is improving.  And we are seeing more SIAC schools make deeper tournament runs than ever before.  This conference will continue to improve.  And the SIAC has proven that a closed 10 team conference really does not need to travel outside the area to find good non con competition.

    Treading Water

    MIC

Center Grove has its best team ever, and the MIC Big 4 had their own little South Bracket Semi State party this past weekend, but that was all expected.  Warren had a down season.  NC and Pike were relatively quiet after making lots of noise last year.  The Lawrence Central program, not long ago the envy of the state with Tre Roberson calling the signals, is in deep trouble.   Lawrence North and its high powered offense were the story in The MIC this year, although taking second billing to the CG juggernaut.

    DAC

Merrillville is back on top in The DAC, and the Pirate program has become a transfer magnet for mercinary players looking for a COVID related landing spot.  This Merrillville team. despite having one of the lowest enrollments in the conference, has more size , speed and athleticism than any in program history.  COVID slowed down momentum at both Valpo and Michigan City, disrupting what were possibly very strong seasons for both.  Chesterton was the best of the rest, with Lake Central, Portage, Crown Point and Laporte all trending below average on the season.

    NIC (Big School)

Elkhart and Marian have basically traded places with Penn and St Joe for leadership in the conference.  Penn has losts its long time stranglehold on The NIC.  Can they reach back and recapture the magic?  Or is it time for a new direction?  New Prairie slipped back in the post Radtke campaign.  South Bend schools barely made a peep, as expected.

    Trending Down

    SAC

Not a good ending on the year for The SAC.  Perhaps a bitter taste after Dwenger and Homestead went down, the former in an ugly loss to Westfield.  Not as many individual stars in the conference this year, and the bottom tier is not showing much improvement.  The SAC has held its own as one of the states best pound for pound for decades, but the league took a step backwards this year.

    Hoosier Crossroads

After many years on the upswing, the HCC had a rough go of it in 2020.  The Fishers schools are not what they used to be 5 to 10 years ago.  Noblesville still has shown little progress.  Franklin Central is not ready for prime time in the HCC.  Avon had its worst season in 5 years.  BBurg once again failed to live up to post season expectations.  Westfield has grabbed this conference by the throat and made it its own.  ZV always plays above its pay grade, and they are doing it once again this year.  Coaching is suspect at many schools in this conference.  Will see soon if many of these schools have the talent, grit and drive to get back in the discussion as to which conference is the best in Indiana.

    Northern Lakes Conference

The NLC seems to have fallen off the planet.  None of its schools have made much noise in the post season.  The league has few impact players.  NLC had a few big games early but not much to grab your attention as the season progressed.  This conference is quickly heading toward irrelevance.  I expected more with the addition of Mishawaka.  Plymouth, Concord and Northwood had sub par seasons.  Goshen and Wawasee are bad programs.  This leaguie needs more than just a premiere matchup between Warsaw and Mishawaka every year.  The talent is just not there.

I'm hoping that AC's enrollment doesn't push them up to 2A with LCC moving up and Pioneer staying up. Plus SA will be talented, but not this talented. We have some good classes with this years freshman who will be sophomores and juniors that will be seniors in '21. Knowing our luck, we will bump up to 2A with Luers and Eastside.

There's a shot. I looked at last year's enrollment at a few schools (8-11) and heres what those enrollments were (i understand schools do lose kids/gain kids)

    Northeastern 417 (2a currently)
    Lake Station 403 (1a currently)
    LaVille 382 (2a currently)
    Clinton Prairie 380 (1a currently)
    Seeger 373 (2a currently)
    Adams Central 370
    Busco 368
    Bowman Academy 366 (2a currently)
    Madison Grant 365
    South Adams 365
    North Newton 359 (2a currently)
    Winamac 358
    Taylor 346
    Milan 326
    Cloverdale 326

Taylor and Milan were the two biggest 1a schools last cycle if I remember right..

1a loses Central Catholic and potentially West Washington. They also lost Gary Roosevelt. 2a has lost Howe already.

So you're comparing a 1A football team to a an NFL team. You're clueless.

Having seen what happens with high school teams and bye weeks constantly this season. It is a hinderance for high school players, they don't have a paycheck coming in based on their weekly performance so it is difficult to keep 14-18 years wholly focused on the season. Especially when you aren't allowed to practice for two weeks. LCC will make a lot of mid season mistakes like they have every Friday this season because they have about half the amount of reps during practice this season than SA. That can come into play in a big way. Having scouted SA last season when they lose to AC. They are the real deal and going into this season I've though they were the favorite since they returned just about everyone. Their QB, top WR, and TE are all fantastic athletes who you can tell have put in a lot of work to master their craft. LCC is not the same team they were last year. There is so much inexperience out there and the lack of practice time has hurt that youth's development throughout the season.

Harrels predicts SA 52 LCC 10. I don't know that it'll be that bad, but LCC has a lot of work to do this week to make a game of it.

South Adams (12-0) at Lafayette Central Catholic (5-3)
GAME TIME: 7 pm ET, LaRocca Field.
COACHES: Grant Moser, 47-21 in 6th year at South Adams. Brian Nay, 22-13 in 3rd year at Central Catholic.
    SAGARIN RATINGS: South Adams, 74.83, 42nd overall, 1st in 1A. Central Catholic, 41.84, 180th overall, 15th in 1A.
LAST OUTING: South Adams defeated Southwood, 48-35. Central Catholic defeated Winamac, 37-32.
OPPONENTS' RECORDS: South Adams 57-60. Central Catholic 44-37.
SERIES LAST 35 YEARS: No meetings.
    jh PREDICTION: South Adams, 52-10.

    Ive seen both teams play.

South Adams I believe has more weapons.

#26 Summersett is a stud running the ball and #3 Stutzman, #7 Wanner, #15 Miller, #8 Shoch and #2 Bixler are stud receivers.

Munn and Dienhart are really good receivers.. Smith is a decent back but I really like SA's skilled guys more.

    Defensively

Miller, #1 Davidson, Wanner, #57 Gorney and #55 Plattner are studs.

I'm not sure how many SA guys go both ways and I don't recall how many LCC has.

South Adams' Oline is gonna have to continue to give Arnold time and LCC's Dline is gonna have to get pressure, i'm not sure if CC's secondary can keep the skilled guys of South Adams at bay and idk how LCC's line is gonna hold up against SA. Winamac's d line batted a few balls down and did get some sacks and hurries.

I think Barrett is a great QB and mostly definitely can hold his own against Arnold.. Arnold is prob quicker and has way more skilled guys.

I think SA will win but wouldn't shock me if CC wins.

If you truly think that not playing is an advantage, you don't know what you're talking about.  You can have injuries in practice, so resting doesn't make a bit of a difference.  Give any coach or player the option of playing a game or resting and taking a week off, and I'd bet no one would want to give up a game.

    Just my opinion.

Im glad the Winamac kids didn't have to play SN week 2.

You could have brought our JV in and nothing changes. I would have rather had 8 days to prepare for NJ rather then 4. Just my thought.
