From my understanding, North Central has been in a rebuild mood after 2020. O’Shea did have some success between 2018-2020 with winning a sectional championship. Going off the 2021 State run at Kankakee, looked he used the Spread (2100+ passing, ~1500 rushing). The 2021 state Championship game is on YouTube. And I’m assuming he has been using the same offense at North Central.

Great hire, he did very well in Illinois before heading over to North Central. I believe he lead Kankakee (Illinois) to the State Title game in 2022.

VL’s AD did say they were planning on staying in the SIAC 2025-2026 year. Although it appears the timetable is up in the air.

WIC has approved Lincoln’s application and will join the conference. Good luck to the Alices in the WIC!

Memorial’s offensive starters rarely changed throughout the season unless it was just for a game. Memorial’s defense switched around for some of the games for the DL and backfield, but I used the most common lineup on that side of the ball they primarily used. I’m intrigued who will be the QB this season. One team that caught my eye was North losing pretty much their entire offense, but returning a good amount on their Defense.

Is CAL playing HH again this year? Or was that a 1-year deal. That matchup would be something it was was played at the end of year.

I think the Border Bowl should be brought back to life in 2026. Could have some fun matchups again.

Pre-2020 there were high hopes of of expanding the SIAC up to 12 teams and have divisions. What Oldtime said about getting some members of the PAC and Big 8 to join the conference. There was also a proposed Championship week too for the outright SIAC Champion followed by #2 vs #2, #3 vs #3, and so on. SIAC also had divisions for football back in the 60s and 70s. Yes, they voted to leave this morning and applied to the WIC since the conference had interest with the Alices. As of now, they will still be in the SIAC for the 2025-2026 academic year according to their AD.

With Lincoln leaving (if WIC approves), a regular season non-conference game will be fun to watch since the 2019 season.

Looks like it was an unanimous vote, seems like a timetable hasn’t been mentioned yet. It definitely was, I had to go off the Memorial-Castle game since I couldn’t find a starting lineup graphic. Since I used the Indiana SRN ones.

Lincoln has voted to join the WIC and leave the SIAC this morning per Kyle Sokeland

I’ve seen nothing regarding the Jasper or the Mater Dei positions. It seems like most hires are announced towards the end of the school year.
