  2. That time of the year again! My Week 1 predictions will come out tomorrow
  3. I agree, but they always look rusty during the scrimmages. Ellspermann is who I am worried most, good news is that he seemed quick last night. We should be fine in my opinion
  4. MaxPreps pre season rankings 5A: 7. Castle 13. North 4A: 5. Central 8. Jasper 10. Memorial 3A: 34. Vincennes Lincoln 2A: 3. Mater Dei
  5. Now this is the game that I am excited for, well, one of the many great teams in Week 1
  6. I’ll find some highlights later, some things from the Memorial-Castle scrimmage Memorial: -I believe teams will see a lot more runs plays from what I saw, there were some promising plays -Receivers looks pretty good, had some dropped catches, some were pretty contested -Ellpsermann is a scrambler from the looks of it, but from my angle, some of his throws were not the best -The offensive line looked pretty good, our defense looked very well. Had a lot of QB “sacks” and nice stops Castle: - Their QB, Cameron Tilly, has a pretty nice arm to throw to receivers. Thought there were some nice gains - Their offense line is going to be the weak point of the team. Whoever our DE was last night kept exposing the left side - I didn’t see much of their run game, saw Memorial stopped them a couple of times -Their defense looked good too I wasn’t there for long, but that’s my observation
  7. Final preseason rankings 1. Mater Dei 2. Memorial(edges Jasper by a little) 3. Jasper 4. Castle 5. North 6. Central 7. Reitz 8. VL 9. Harrison 10. Bosse
  8. I’m excited to watch them too, will give me a better look at the team in a broader view rather than inter squads. Next week feels like Iowa vs IU game coming up in a couple. Same exact feeling, and I am damn excited
  9. Any reason why? I’m guessing scheduling error for using Enlow Field
  10. So the Castle-Memorial scrimmage is at Harrison this year, is that correct?
  11. Gotta find 4 new starters on their O-line now
  12. Looks like my speculation is true, tough loss for Castle
  13. Well, this certain player was supposed to be crucial on their line
  14. Yup, though I thought it was for a different reason. But won’t say his name in here since it’s not confirmed
  15. It appears Castle has lost another on their O-line
  16. QB play last night at the scrimmage didn’t look too bad, though I did not know who was who, so it was hard to tell, I’ll keep it at that. Some of the ones I saw had cannons of an arm. Our Defense looked extremely good too, there were some problems on both sides of the ball, but I think it’s just early season action. Can’t wait for next week against Castle!
  17. I thought about that too, MD, MHS, and Castle all 8-1 at the end of the season, just like the 2017 season
  18. Staff Picks, no idea what they say
