Memorial thought they would be up in 4A this year, but since Memorial was in transitioning of hiring a new AD, no one knew about the Success Factor point change the IHSAA quietly made last summer. And caused a lot of confusion about it, right before the summer re-classifications. That’s all I know about the story.

Atmosphere was great last night! Both crowds were getting loud all night long.

Crossing over the midfield twice and then allowing 2 more TDs after that definitely hurt in the 1H going down 21-0. I’m glad they eventually tied it up in the 3Q, but that kickoff return from Meredith to the Memorial 38 and the Facemask penalty was a momentum swinger for HH. And Memorial not converting those 3rd/4th and 4 early in the 4Q to potentially tying up 28-28. However, Heritage Hills has been a rolling freight train all season and is such a well coached team. As for next year, some big shoes to fill for the Tigers, although enough supporting cast will return.

SIAC Sectional Championship Finals 31-21 Castle over North 35-6 Reitz over Boonville 38-24 Heritage Hills over Memorial The SIAC curse (From expansion) continues for another year, as the undefeated SIAC Champion hasn’t made it out of sectionals since 2020.

Heritage Hills, oh boy what a train of team they have. They are going to run away to the State Championship game. Hell of a team in Lincoln City, players were flying all over the field offensively and defensively. Tough to see my Tigers bow out, gave them all they had in the 2H and I wish for the best for the Seniors! Go represent the South Heritage Hills!

Exactly, I remembered getting Popcorn and a burger, man that was so good 7 years ago.

I’m expecting a lot of running from HH tomorrow night…..while I will be running to the concessions.

I agree, the Tigers need to play a lot better, but it important to note that offense was on the field for around 14 minutes in the game. SR did take up a lot of time by running the ball, however, there were some drives in the 1H that could’ve been better for the Tigers. SR played some pretty good defense throughout the game. It will definitely be a good game on Friday, but will be a battle.

I’m hoping to be there early for a good spot, going to be a packed game Friday night!
