  1. Ouch, doubling him with a guy who was 6-4 and runs a 10.6 had alot to do with that. I thought he had more than a few, along with a punt return...moved liked he was on skates..the year before it was an on going "you got mossed" clip...over and over...and over again.
  2. Jeff Samardzija-Valpo Anthony Spencer-Luers Trai Essex-Harding Jack Kiser-Pioneer Nick Zachery-Sheridan
  3. Never said it was a penalty..just asking how "drip" effects the outcome of the game? All about player safety..otherwise..if a coach n AD are ok with a players fashion show while representing the school..then whats the issue? As someone stated b4..certain games its ok..while others its not..the ambiguity may translate to who just decides to be an enforcer any given Friday night..
  4. All penalties that impact the game..tell me..how does drip stop the other team from gaining 10 yards?
  5. Honest question, is that still a penalty? No mouthguard, no play? If they cut it, would anyone be able to tell a player is not wearing one? I also wonder why players stop utilizing them after a certain level..crazy work..
  6. What is the age gap? Mallory going to be around for the next 20 or 30 years? Same with officials, I am getting nervous about who will guide Indiana football into the next few decades...if its these dancing, matching outfits, running down the sidelines guys then we are in trouble. Also it takes an unselfish person to coach and officiate with families who understand the time commitments they all embark on once that decision has been made. Not saying Mallory is one of these guys, just ranting. I wonder what the average tenure is for current coaches around the state..
  7. There is one in NIL though! jk..as long as it not a safety concern and the coaches are ok with it...eh..
  8. Thought the same thing..with a few coaches getting up there, wouldnt it be wise to promote from within while keeping the guru on staff a few years to help with the transition?
  9. makes you look big and scary..
  10. Snider's new stadium is coming along gr8, let the transfers begin..
  11. I was shooting from the hip..for some reason I thought cathedral won 2 in 4a then 2 in 5a..mea culpa..didnt include Warren due to no sf..private schools n a few others are the only programs dealing with fluctuating weight classes..a blessing n a curse I guess..Franklin central..wow..
  12. I concur, the years snider coaches were able to get along, both programs flourish. How some can hate the other is beyond me..Arrogance and politics have turned rings red and left hardware on other buses.
  13. I know Brownsburg had some fast dudes on their track team last year, Sharpe looks like he is a sub 11 100m guy..wonder what his official 40 time is..if i was the track coach id be all over that..speed kills...
  14. More programs playing at LOS means the sport will continue to grow=more money for everyone... If a program never wins a sectional and has a run to LOS, in their community eyes, thats a successful season. I get traditional powerhouses being upset about moving up without a state title, if your not first, your last..Some teams may have NEVER seen LOS without the SF, it was not intended to help the rich get richer..
  15. So we will finally have the best athlete win....a Lineman!!😁
  16. Its ugly yet SF was created to help programs get their fan base to state when you have a perennial power constantly in their way. I guess the communities of Knox and Twin Lakes think Luers is a 4a program, according to our current SF, they are. A ring is a ring, regardless the color, if a team gets too many too quickly, they move up. Gone are the days of LCC, Luers, and Cathedral winning 4 in a row in the same class..
  17. One of the best plays I've ever seen in a state finals game..insane..
  18. True..I think position groups that want to avoid contact the most 1)kicker/punter 2)wr 3)db
  19. Neva gonna happen..most dbs are built to cover..not tackle
  20. Sounds like a game changer..that offense looked formidable without him..with him..possibly getting fitted for a ring..not shading cascade..
  21. Ouch. Hope he recovers. I wondered..the QB seemed to settle in during the 2nd half yet could tell he may be getting his varsity legs..
  22. I know I am late to the party, I watched this game, was the starting QB out for GS?
  23. I concur, any team can be bit by the injury bug at any given time. Not saying that it would take for a southern 6a team to be decimated by injuries, just commenting that anything can happen and if the North puts together a gr8 team while the Southern Kings have a "down" year and someone gets past the hounds and rocks.. The top 6 is bound to stub their toe at some point...when..if ever..who knows..
